The big worry is that Patton rucked and did a really good job, don't think they will be giving Lobb 80% time like first anticipated. Time to cut a run. Some good options however, still under 500k.
yeah, against sinclair :P im just pissed i missed out on lobbys 120+ due to his injury  :-\
People say that, but he has rucked solo only 4 times in his career. 120 against Kreuzer 2 years ago and then 106, 75 and 152 this year. I think he'll put up decent numbers this week against the Bulldogs too, I applaud those 2% who took a punt on him for $437k.

2 of his 3 matchs this year have been against no ruck (port/GWS) and round 1 was against Nicnat (50% game time) in his first game back. Hes going to get a rude shock :P

you guys really want to take the risk of getting in a player thats had a limited PS, no JLT games and not even named as first ruck yet.

theres 3 warning signs there
Hows Lobb travelling  ;D

This guy is completely overrated on here.

This is not a Witts 2017 “team-changing” bargain. He’s 400k with no JLT under his belt.

Best case scenario seems to be he averages 90, which is what you NEED for a player that costs 400k because they must be a keeper at that price.

And what reward do you actually get for taking the risk if it happens to come off? Save 50-80k (at best) off players that are safer chances of averaging 90+?

Just not worth it.

It is honestly astounding how confident some people were about a guy learning a new role with no pre-season.

The guy copped a knee injury, I don't see any scribes who predicted that (had nothing to do with his groins). The amount of self congratulation here is well over the top.  ::)

Blah, blah, blah. He's played 2 games fully fit FFS, one score of 97 & another 58 (which included 11 clangers). His last game he was tracking ok until he hobbled off the ground and didn't return until after half time. Gotta love these hero in a half shell comments.

I understand, you farked this pick up, your hurting, your emotional.

buy the way, your the one coming of as the hero pal

Geez, it's like Lobb is the only flop pick in fantasy ever?!?  I had him, didn't pan out, traded him out, move on just like every other flop pick you've all made at some point in time.  Unless you've won SC, you ain't shower just like everyone else.

No buddy, I move on quickly. And by the way, personal back slapping after a player cops an injury is lame, as is quoting oneself and then using a smiley to show how smart you are. Lobb wasn't a good pick sure, but he simply goes down as another injury trade. Time to pull your head in.

Hippo

but i am shower! im a half shell hero

Yeah not only that, if he didnt get injured in his 3rd game he likely would of gone 150 like patton and sinclair did playing ruck the whole match. His 57 was vs Grundy who was ruined everyone this year. Its like saying Matt Crouch was a terrible pick..

There's always risks involved with picking midprice players, you can see my view on them just to the left of this post :P

I think Lobb had upside and if he was a R/F I probably would've picked him for ruck cover (Like I did with Ryder and many did with Nank last season). We all know that playing sole ruck has its perks, just look at what Nank and Witts did last year, what Sinclair and English are doing this year. It's a great spot to play for SC scoring.

No pre-season and fwd only scared me off, looks like Christensen was the popular midprice option to roll with this season to make some coin. Could include a Dunkley and Taranto but they weren't really talked about much in pre-season.
