Watched the game today and Lobb was smashed by Grundy no doubt!
Lobb had a 5 minute period were he did a few good things but I am really thinking that this experiment with him at F4 has to come to and end. If Sicily scores anything over 95+ on Monday the trade will be made.
The way I see it against a top 5-6 ruckman he will struggle.
Even last week against the Bulldogs, English held his own against him and even though he scored 97 I wasn’t totally convinced.

One reason I didn't start him is the underdone pre-season. If he was fully fit I see the merit, but the ruck (and as a sole ruck) is one spot you need full fitness. Not everyone is Nic Nat who's an absolute freak when it comes to HOTA. Most thought Lobb would be able to mirror that, I don't think he'll be a bad pick, but I think he is one that might have been worth monitoring and jumping on down the track. He will probably hit a purple patch when he regains full fitness in about 4-6 weeks time.

And when he does he will turn into a great pick that averages over 90 for the season and most of us would have killed for a f4 of 90+ at season start.   Staying with him.

Yeah, all this fuss is unnecessary, especially with his fixture next week.

I've considered a few options, but I'd like to wait to see how they go in the coming weeks and how Lobb continues to track as well.

No panic yet though, just had a bad day.

So what did everyone decide in the end to do with Lobb?

I am still in two minds whether to hold or trade to D Smith

Woppa15

Holding. Hoping he’s just working into some fitness

WizzFizz

Ouch that sucks
I only did it because it has enabled me to go Bont->Dusty, and considering I'd have traded Lobb next week anyway with this injury, I'm not devastated.

If Taranto goes sub 70, I will be.

Lobb might be fine for next week

Woppa15

Didn’t get to see the game and haven’t been able to find anything. Any early reports on Lobbs injury?

Hazza09

He’s going next week!
Seen enough...upgrading him to Heeney or Walters
