I started Lobb, and this isn't knee jerking at all because I thought he looked ordinary last week and somehow scored 97 but he was absolutely smashed today so that's 2 weeks in a row that I haven't loved what I'm seeing

He stays for now, because I have other issues to deal with but just based on watching him, not his scores, I just can't see him being good enough

Hopefully he can keep building and improve, but we need to be real too - he's a 396k player we have picked to break out, so we can't be too surprised if he doesn't meet our lofty expectations

Crap rucks can still score well. Looked great in two finals so no need to panic.

Had a mare, 10 clangers. Won't trade yet, won't lose any money. The biggest worry was Patton taking so many center square bounces.

He will lose a bit of money if he spuds again, but he's got Sydney and Sinkers next week so should be ok

Every one jumped on him on from 2 games as No1 ruck last year , played against a decent ruck today they won but he had his panties pulled down and his bottom spanked  ;D

It's 2 games at 77, can easily improve. No disgrace losing to Grundy who's in the top 5 rucks.

If he was 250K I'd agree Bully but there are many rucks as good as Grundy and some better , obviously I don't have him but coming up to R3 there might be better options for less cash ?

Not trading this week, BE very achievable. Played well in the second quarter and then was rag dolled in the second half. Lobb also missed a fair few contested marks that he usually gobbles up. From my perspective the only way is up. He won't get dropped either, the fact he can play forward means he fits the team structure better than Simpson.

GWS don't have a choice, the cupboard is bare so they will be forced to get games into Lobb. Think there will be a fair learning curve from here.

I felt like part of his bad game today was them trying to get Patton into the game and giving him center ruck contests. It may actually be that we need Patton to do well forward for Lobb to score decently like he's shown he can.

Lobb had a 5 minute period were he did a few good things but I am really thinking that this experiment with him at F4 has to come to and end. If Sicily scores anything over 95+ on Monday the trade will be made.
The way I see it against a top 5-6 ruckman he will struggle.
Even last week against the Bulldogs, English held his own against him and even though he scored 97 I wasn’t totally convinced.

Lobb got toweled, every man & his dog could see that, but he also had 15 possessions & 20 hit outs. Can almost guarantee he won't ever have another 11 clanger game.

Yep this.. was shocked to see he had 11 clangers and still scored 58.
