Have really looked into him for the first time this season and if he is named round 1 without Simpson he is in my side.

Number 1 ruck who is a gun at hit outs to advantage with one of the best midfields in the comp at his feet. Although he has been managed he has still had some game time put into him.

Greene down to Lobb seems smart.

think Simpson will be in front of Lobb to start the season, sorry bud.

Your interpretation skills aren't too great if you think that.

Cameron's quote was "It's great to have three big guys fighting for the one spot". Leading into that he spoke about Lobb, Simpson and Flynn saying that both Simpson and Flynn have had impeccable pre-seasons while Lobb's has had a slower start but mentioned that he had some game time last week.

If anything, it's a great sign that only one of them will play in the team at any given time. So if Lobb is named round 1 it will be unlikely that Simpson or Flynn will be named too based on what Cameron said.

None of this is going to matter because Lobb wont play round 1  ;D

Lobb isn't on the injury list ;D

Given he played last week that's to be expected. Still very low ownership which is pleasing.

Not very tempted by Lobb coming off a very limited preseason because of ongoing groin issues and just shy of 400K and his history of being a lone ruck is against Vardy and Nank ..... 2 games , think there are safer choices Fwd for a bit extra cash.

I feel as though he has the highest ceiling out of pretty much any forward.

Maybe if he had a hitout in the JLT to see how he was travelling but one practice match in a lower grade I don't even know how long he played or his stats or how he pulled up think I would rather take a risk on someone like Bell for about 110K less

Yeah Lobb *daylight* then Buddy, Gray, Heeney, Billings & Greene in order of ceiling

In fact, I have Lobb only second to Danger overall...

1. Danger
2. Lobb
3. Martin
4. Fyfe
5. Kelly

He's very tempting. I just cant see Dawson playing when you have a young talent like lobb who'll be a big part of your future and several tall KPP's that can ruck on the change.

The #1 ruck is easy easy points. Almost automatic with the HTA's and extra touches and tackles inside. Look at Wittz, Bellchambers, Smith, Nank, none of them were considered good players or good picks yet all went 90+. If you could take any of them for under 400k as a fwd when fwd prems are running thin, why not?

Add to the fact Lobb is a better contested mark and a better scoring threat when resting forward then any of those 4 , i just cant see how a 92-95 average isnt on the cards. Legit the only worrying thing is the lack of preseason but he just showed he could play a whole game, isnt on the injury and if hes named without Dawson then why not...? He's the perfect risk.

And 3% of teams...??  :o

If he was to play sole number 1 ruck, then why can't his ceiling be 100-105 like all other sole ruckmen? He's 25, been in the system for 4 years now. We saw Nankervis, Smith, McEvoy, Witts and even Bellchambers score in and around 90 as sole ruckmen last season. Not really an unreasonable shout.

Looks like I was half a minute too slow posting, beaten to it :D

Dev Smith and Petracca are 40k more and have had uninterrupted pre-seasons.

Happy to take them over Lobb. Had Lobb not had an interrupted pre-season and played 1 JLT he would be someone to consider from my perspective. Happy to be proven wrong.
