This game is terrible. Keep thinking my team is set, then something inevitably happens and it's back to the drawing board. Wish the regular season would just start, the suspense is killing me. Anyway, this is the Dangerless team that I feel most comfortable with, with no real plan to bring him in during the season. Almost considering just going without and hoping he has a below par season, but gut tells me to find the cash to bring him in early.

Backs: Laird, Hibberd, Lloyd, Coffield, Doedee, Murray (Keeffe, Mirra)

Mids: Dusty, Titch, Crouch, Fyfe, Cripps, Cogs, Brayshaw, Kelly (Banfield, Holman, England)

Rucks: Sauce, Gawn (Olango)

Fwds: Heeney, Billings, Smith, Sicily, Bundy, Fritsch (Ryan, Brown)

5K in the kitty. Any and all thoughts appreciated.

It's looking good. Strong mids, rucks, fwds with Sicily as a swingman to shore up defence if needed. Would prefer others to Lloyd and Sauce but can't fault it otherwise.
Coniglio > Armo/JOM would give u cash to turn Crouch into Danger if u wanted to go that route.

Really appreciate the feedback. Lloyd is a personal preference as even though his ceiling is low, he rarely scores below 85. Could swap him with Tuohy, who I also like, if McVeigh comes back into the team.

Sauce would be Goldy if not for the Preuss factor. My reasoning is with a midfield that strong at his feet, his hitouts are probably going to be advantage a lot of the time, and plus he's Adelaide's solo ruck, so JS is not an issue.

Interesting insight into getting Danger, I hadn't thought of that. Will keep my ears to the ground regarding his injury, and if he looks like coming back in early, then it'll be bye bye Conigs. Trust issues with JOM, but I feel like he's finally getting some consistency and this could well be his breakout season. Armo's a no go as I can't trust a fallen premo in a midfield that's getting stronger and stronger each season.

Money Shot

if you have that team come round 1 you will start off your season very well.

Ringo

Team to sit on very well set up.

That's what I'd like to think anyway. Cheers.

This is my latest team to sit on till R1 teams come out. Only real risks I see are not starting Danger and having Nic Nat after next to no preseason. If Nic Nat doesn't get up he'll become Sauce at the expense of God knows who. I'm really leaning towards forgetting about Danger completely, but I'll probably end up paying for that. Any and all thoughts appreciated.

PowerBug

if it pays off you have 15 keepers. If it all goes pearshaped you have 10.

Christensen to Rayner could net you some cash if you need it. Also I haven't heard of that lad you have at F8, I'd be wanting 29 starters in Round 1 (Only R3 to miss).

think the 15 keepers selected are as good a chance as any to become a keeper.

Last round threw a spanner in the works, with every premo bar a select few underperforming. Add to that putting the C on Dusty over Titch and the VC on Cripps over Fyfe and I had myself a shocker. Now as far as trades go, I've got no real issues, but I'm keeping a close eye on several players. Premos are relatively set in stone, with only Billings a real concern. In saying that I love the way he plays, and when he hits form he's up there with the best of them. Not worried about Goldy, any ruckman who goes up against Gawn is likely to have a dirty day, and Clarrie should bounce back against Hawks.

Would just like a bit of advice on trades. Since I've avoided the crises that others are experiencing ie. Walters, Gaz, Sandi, Lobb and co. I'm leaning towards holding for this round and making the most of the rookie cash. A possible trade I see if Ryan is out for a while is Ryan down to either Higgins or Crowden and then possibly a Brayshaw or Naughton out for a Coffield type. Any insights would be appreciated, cheers.

Not sure what your thougts are on Goldy has lost 12k and comes up against Kreuzer and mcEvoy in next 2 rounds. If you have a correctional trade planned maybe look at that one.

Another rookie to consider apart from those you mentioned is ed Richards in defence. On the bubble this week. at $135k.

I think that's my reluctance to trade premos coming in to play, given that I've already had to offload Crouch and Hibbo. It might be North bias, but from what I'm seeing of Goldy I think he's injury free and could be in for his best season since 2015. In saying that, Grundy looks the goods, and could be a very nice R1 making cash and scoring points. I reckon I'll probably hold Goldy, as North are a good contested side, and I'm thinking that the contested battle against Carlton and Hawthorn will be fairly similar. Appreciate the feedback, reckon I'll play it by ear.

Definitely hold, 2 good games & 1 shocker isn't reason enough. Long way to go.
