Good work mate, when a mod has time it might be worth moving our discussions from the JLT Player Discussion into this thread.

Would take a fair bit of time, you have to split the posts from the other thread, most of them individually by the look of it and then merge them into this thread.
Would be quicker to just copy and paste them here

Okay thanks. Ill try to find time to do that.

Thought I might be able to just split the last few posts from the thread but there's a couple of JLT relevant ones in among the best 22 discussion

Nige

This one goes out to yung fanTCfool.

B: Kade Simpson, Liam Jones, Caleb Marchbank
HB: Lachie Plowman, Jacob Weitering, Aaron Mullett
M: Sam Petrevski-Seton, Pat Cripps, Matthew Kennedy
HF: Charlie Curnow, Harry McKay, Matthew Wright
F: Jack Silvagni, Levi Casboult, Zac Fisher
R: Matthew Kreuzer, Ed Curnow, Marc Murphy
I/C: Paddy Dow, Jarrod Garlett, Darcy Lang, Ciaran Byrne

Def: Carlton have some decent defensive stocks with Cam O'Shea ready to play and Tom Williamson another unlucky to miss out. Alex Silvagni is reliable when needed and Harrison Macreadie can play a role. Cllian McDaid's an Irish rookie who won't see much time in the short term. Jesse Glass-McCasker is a KPD who is yet to debut while Sam Rowe should be back from injury but surely has to be depth these days.

Mid: It wouldn't be surprising if Dale Thomas still gets picked, but Carlton have the luxury of throwing in future options instead if they want. David Cuningham is stiff to miss while Nick Graham and Sam Kerridge are guys who can play, but there chances won't come as often. Matt Shaw was recruited as experienced depth. Lochie O'Briena and Angus Schumacher can also play as defenders so might get a crack there before playing through the middle.

Ruck: Matthew Kreuzer is their main man and Matthew Lobbe has arrived to be the main back up. Andrew Phillips will be fighting for his spot on the list with young tall Tom De Koning able to play as a ruck or a forward.

Fwd: Jarrod Pickett probably could make the 22 but I think Jarrod Garlett in the vastly superior player. Jed Lamb is an option for some experience and as a role player while Cam Polson is another good youngster. Kym Lebois might find it tough to get a look in. Patrick Kerr is the other key forward option at Carlton but he's well and truly behind Casboult, McKay and even Charlie Curnow.

Dedicating this to my boy wato.

B: Matt Scharenberg, Lynden Dunn, Tom Langdon
HB: Jeremy Howe, Darcy Moore, Brayden Maynard
C: Daniel Wells, Adam Treloar, Steele Sidebottom
HF: Will Hoskin-Elliott, Ben Reid, Jaidyn Stephenson
F: Jamie Elliott, Mason Cox, Alex Fasolo
R: Brodie Grundy, Scott Pendlebury, Taylor Adams
I/C: Tyson Goldsack, Tom Phillips, Travis Varcoe, Jack Crisp

Def: Brody Mihocek could honestly replace Lynden Dunn or Darcy Moore if that experiment fails. Sam Murray could maybe squeeze on to the bench and Josh Smith should be near enough to the 22 to think about. Flynn Appleby, Jack Madgen and Nathan Murphy all have promise and could possibly appear at some point. Sam McLarty is the only other key defender and Adam Oxley remains depth.

Mid: Callum Brown and Josh Thomas are the best of the mid depth options, while James Aish and Rupert Wills probably aren't far behind. Jaidyn Stephenson gets a go with De Goey's saga and recent hammy injury. Levi Greenwood and Brayden Sier are depth, while Tyler Brown needs a season or two.

Ruck: No danger to Brodie Grundy other than Mason Cox pinch hitting. There's a fella called Max Lynch, but he's no threat.

Fwd: Tim Broomhead, Josh Daicos, Kayle Kirby and Ben Crocker are all around the mark and will all get games at points this season you'd suspect. It's one of the great mysteries of life as to how and why Jarryd Blair and Chris Mayne still have contracts that grant them a place on an AFL list.

Here's what I think of ours

FB: Gleeson Hartley McKenna
HB: McGrath Hurley Saad
C: Zaharakis Smith Parish
HF: Stringer Daniher Stewart
FF: Fantasia* Hooker McDonald-Tipungwuti
R: Bellchambers Heppell Merrett
Int: Goddard (B/M) Myers (M) Langford (M/F) Ambrose (B)

Emg: Begley (F) Laverde (M/F) Baguley (B), McKernan (R/F)
Immediate Depth: Colyer (M/F), Green (F), Guelfi (B/M), Dea (B), McNiece (B), Leuenberger (R)

*Fantasia will miss round one
I think you’re spot on there Jukes, but I think Langford’s position could be taken by Green/Begley or perhaps Baguley to free up McGrath in the middle.

B: Darcy Gardiner, Harris Andrews, Alex Witherden
HB: Daniel Rich, Dan McStay, Luke Hodge
M: Hugh McCluggage, Dayne Zorko, Mitch Robinson
HF: Charlie Cameron, Josh Walker, Rhys Mathieson
F: Allen Christensen, Eric Hipwood, Lewy Taylor
R: Stefan Martin, Dayne Beams, Jarrod Berry
I/C: Ryan Lester, Nick Robertson, Sam Mayes, Ryan Bastinac

Shock and awe that I don't have Rayner I know, but I'll get to that!

Def: Gardiner and Robertson are probably the two most contentious spots in this side, so Tom Cutler presents as a candidate not featured and the latest suggests Jack Payne could push for an early season debut. Claye Beams, Liam Dawson, Mitch Hinge and Marco Paparone are all general defenders that could be called upon but are depth for now. Matt Eagles could push for a KPD spot while Jack Frost and Sam Skinner are behind him.

Mid: Jacob Allison is a guy that's probably unlucky to miss, as are Cedric Cox and Ben Keays. Corey Lyons and Brandon Starcevich will press the claims in the NEAFL, with the former more likely to get a game. Lions fans won't want Tom Bell and Rohan Bewick anywhere other than the NEAFL.

Ruck: Stef has had to contend with Archie Smith in the past, but Oscar McInerney has to be the main threat in 2018. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised to see Oscar take over before the year is out, or at least play in tandem with Stef at some point putting Archie as the firm third in line.

Fwd: Cam Rayner is probably replacing Nick Robertson in the side I named, but he'll play mainly forward with a stint or two in the middle in his maiden season. Zac Bailey, Jake Barrett and Toby Wooller make up the general forward department, with Bailey able to play through the middle. Barrett can do the same too, but Brisbane seem to like to use him as a forward. Connor Ballenden is a promising tall who should eventually take Josh Walker's place, although Walker is only 25 but you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise.

I see how it is :(

Ya know Ringo and I are both Lions supporters too ;)

Edit: There are 4 emergencies this year ;)

Pretty similar to you GL. Would love to put Eagles/Payne ahead of Gardiner myself but obviously can't at this stage hah.

Martin rucks as much as he can for mine, and when he needs a rest, Walker/Hipwood pitch hit.

B: Marty Gleeson, Michael Hartley, Conor McKenna
HB: Adam Saad, Michael Hurley, Andrew McGrath
C: David Zaharakis, Devon Smith, Darcy Parish
HF: Jake Stringer, Joe Daniher, James Stewart
F: Kyle Langford, Cale Hooker, Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti
R: Tom Bellchambers, Dyson Heppell, Zac Merrett
I/C: Brendon Goddard, Patrick Ambrose, Mark Baguley, Josh Begley

Def: Matt Dea is one of the first in line and stiff to miss out as he's caught in the same position he was at the Tiges. Jordan Ridley could emerge this year and Ben McNiece could reappear. Mitch Brown is handy depth while Brandon Zerk-Thatcher is a future option. Aaron Francis is a player many have high hopes for, but it's a real watch this space scenario for him.

Mid: Dylan Clarke and Kobe Mutch have had a bit of hype around them but are yet to break in. Colyer just got an injury to keep him out a while while Myers should be depth at this point. Matt Guelfi could come in early for a debut and Trent Mynott has what it takes but is at the end of the line.

Ruck: Matthew Leuenberger is an option but Bellchambers gets the title of number one. Sam Draper has showed real promise and Luke Lavender is a work in progress.

Forward: Good ol' Shaun McKernan will be called upon at some point you'd think while Josh Green is a handy small for depth purposes. Jayden Laverde should get a crack as he looks to cement a spot. Jackson Merrett, Jake Long, Mason Redman and Jordan Houlahan are all depth and unlikely to feature in 2018.

2015 VFL Grand Final, Williamstown beat Box Hill.

I only remember Adam Marcon being BOG apart from the result tbh.

Oh, and the fact we sat behind the goals, but only after switching ends because GL's missus was closer to that end of the ground.  :P

Part 2 - that is the next 6 teams, coming tomorrow.

Bill Manspeaker

I'll have a crack at the Saints

Jarryn Geary, Nathan Brown, Jimmy Webster
Dylan Roberton, Jake Carlisle, Shane Savage
Jack Newnes, David Armitage, Jack Sinclair
Jack Billings, Josh Bruce, Hunter Clark
Jade Gresham, Paddy McCartin, Tim Membrey

Billy Longer, Jack Steven, Seb Ross

Blake Acres, Luke Dunstan, Jack Steele, Nick Coffield

reckon that last spot could go to either Coffield or Gilbert, and I pray it's Coffield
