A few im keen on Bowes, Perryman, Aliir, Mcpherson

All these guys from interstate sides, I think all have a case for selection.
Keen on getting peoples thoughts on any of these players....

They all don't seem like they'll average enough/have good enough JS to justify selection. Aliir the only one I'd consider.

I think Bowes is a lock given he has been starring this pre season and is running in the mids. I also think McPherson is in the same boat. Had a great JLT game and is worth watching.

No, No, No and No.

Why get these guys when there are plenty that are a lot cheaper who will likely score similarly?

Cole, Coffield, Naughton, Doedee, Finlayson, Murphy in defence

Go deep up forward with a 'keeper' or Christensen at F5 or even F6 then Fritsch and one or two of the Eagles boys.

The four you've mentioned are priced awkwardly and aren't popular for a reason due to shaky JS and/or low scoring potential.

My thoughts.

All those rookies you mentioned could literally do nothing and be dropped after rd 1.

Better than spending 270k on players that could literally do nothing and be dropped after rd 1.

Couldn't have put it any better myself, erich.

I'd like to see another good performance from Darcy Macpherson. He averaged over 110+ SC in the NEAFL (granted that it isn't too hard) and was a massive ball winner. If he puts in another 100+ next week then there is definitely a case for selection even with the dodgy JS.

The other picks don't have the scoring potential to outweigh the negatives imo

There is a reason they are not being discussed.
Everyone doesn't want to give away their sneaky PODs?

Yeah I reckon it is pretty close minded of you MS. Probably would be more helpful if you give the reason as to WHY you think they are not being discussed.

I'll have a crack  ;D

MacPherson: JS and scoring output
Bowes: Scoring output
Perryman: JS and scoring output
Aliir: JS

I think there are some mid pricers that are due for some discussion and are yet to though.

Dunkley and The Seed to name a couple.
