Two career midfielders available as forwards in 2018. There doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in these blokes. Im giving them some serious consideration. Only need to average 95 to make it a reasonably good selection. Am I mad for considering them??

They both look to be playing as forwards.

Boak will be on my radar after the bye, Mundy looks destined to play forward a fair bit this year. I reckon Rossy will be pumping as many games as possible into the new breed.

Mundy I'd stay away from. Will play as a fwd if the rest of the Freo boys are fit and you'd want him spending time in the middle if you were to pick him

Boak, I'm waiting to see how he goes and look to grab him after his bye. He played more fwd last year and it hurt his scoring.

I've had a little bit of a look at Boak, think he had a couple of niggles last year that could explain his lower average. His bye is a little awkward, and the addition of Rocky is a bit of a question mark, but if he plays JLT2 I'll keep an eye on him.

Mundy seemed to drop off quite a bit last year, and I would expect Freo's young midfield brigade to force him to place forward a lot this season. Maybe bring in has an upgrade, but doubt he'll go 90+.

Would only start Mundy if he gets to play the tigs every week

I think Boak will be playing the whole year on a half forward flank. Port have a full complement of Fwd/Mids with Rockliff, Gray, Wingard, Powell-Pepper, Motlop and Boak. He played that role almost all of last year until at the end he had to start helping out more in the midfield and his scores spiked.

So I don't see him going back to 90+ scoring at all.
