Mid Price Mids

Although I have toyed with starting all these mids I have come to the conclusion that 1 in the 400-500k and 1 in the 250-350k price range is the most i see as a viable starting option.

Would just like too see some discussion on all these mids.

Coniglio probably has the most upside out of all selected players, He is capable of hitting a 105 average and being a keeper in that M8 position all year long. Has shown he can score well played in the past averaging 105.9 in 2016 and played the last 8 games of the season last year which shows he is over any injury concerns.

Libba has went 110 over a season in the past but has never looked the same after his knee reco and seemed to fall out of favour with the club last season. All reports seem to say that Libba is killing it this preseason so could he get back to his best? he is only 24 so has only just started to reach his peak in terms of age. Also has the ideal bye.

Redden has finally got an oppurtunity to be that inside mid that he was brought into the AFL for with Priddis and SMitchell retiring, killed it in the first JLT game which has put him on everyones radar and has scored 105 across a season before. Will Gaff and Shuey still some of his points and stop him from hitting that 105 mark again? also has the perfect bye.

O'meara was touted to be the best player to ever play the game and things were looking promising averaging 90 in his debut season but injury struck and delayed his progress. With a full preseason under his belt and his knee problems looking like a thing of the past I am tempted to take the risk on him as he has the potential to average 100 or there abouts this season with Mitchell the only mid that will be taking some points off him.

Armitage is another mid who is capable of a 110 average across a season but with injuries and the younger mids improving has found it hard to get back into the 22. Seems to have done everything right this preseason and looks to be locking him self into the saints round 1 side. 100 from this man does not seem unreasonable.

Griffin is past his best but at 280k if he can average 80 which he is more than capable of he would be a really good pick. There is a spot off the half back flank that he is looking to secure and if he does I think he is going to score reasonably well. Was held back from the first JLT game which is a little concerning but if he plays and plays well in the seconda JLT he defintely needs to be considered.

Coniglio and O'meara for me at this stage as they both seem to have the most upside but not with great confidence.

Great write up.

At this stage it is Coniglio and Armitage for me.

Libba has went 110 but he'll be lucky to went at 90 this year. He's better off becoming a dribbler thug tagger like his pop.

I'm trying to fit both Cogs & Armo in the team but it will largely depend on rookies. If I can get five 117k rookies in the mids I'll probably go down that path and spend the dough on upgrading defence.

But Cogs is a lock, think he will hit 110 this year.

It is hard to take you seriously a lot of the time Meow so don't know how serious this is.

Would not touch Griffin, this guy had old man injuries before he was an old man, back problems have been a problem, any little ping and he's cooked.

Yeah, have put a line through his name after pulling out of JLT 1.

Me too

Was in my side for a long time, but I just can't trust him to play every game for the first 10 rounds which is what I would need

Conigs the only one I'm really considering

meow meow

Even I have taken Griff out of my side.

Armitage and JOM for me at the moment. Both look primed for centuries.
