It was a postive just to see him play. If there was any concern at all they wouldn't have played him.
No doubt in my mind he'll be a top forward

The problem is that there's no must have forward this year. It's like choosing between hepatitis and chlamydia but still hoping you don't wind up with HIV.

He will be up there but he may be slow out of the blocks. Not making any decisions until I see his performance next week.

;D Tis a bit of Russian Roulette with the forwards, reckon this will be the make or break line. Thing with Heeney is that 40% of the comp has him so if he does struggle early one can get a jump on the pack.

The other thing with Heeney is that he only scored 2 tons in his last 11 games in 2017. I certainly don't see him as the must have forward, especially with a limited preseason. Will obviously give him 1 more chance but another laboured performance and I'll make the switch to Walters.

I agree totally. I felt uneasy with how it was assumed he was the number 1 forward pick. I don’t usually fall for the groupthink theory but I can honestly admit I followed the crowd with Heeney because although he is a massive talent he doesn’t deserve to be the standout forward selection imo.
I agree if it’s not buddy I’ll go to sonny.

Money Shot

Im giving him next week to impress before I make my final desicion.

Walters, Smith, Petracca and other 400-500k forwards seem to be the way to go this season.

Holz

I have just moved him out for Devon Smith. Its probably a knee jerk but I have liked the look at Smith leading into the JLT and he is backing that up.

Haha yeah already got Smith

Ringo

Although it will be a roller coaster Heeney could become Franklin. Waiting on JLT2 though before making final decision.

Heeney is ahead of where he was last season and look how he went. Might only average 105 this year compared to his non-injured 120 potential.

Bones Bombers

Well this young fella is going to come down in price for those of us who don't have him yet.
He was scoring well before the last couple of games and I'm sure he will be one of the top forwards at the end of the season.
Maybe Buddy out is hurting him.

I thought he was pretty good tonight

He was everywhere and I'm shocked his score was that low - must have had poor DE

Yep. David King just mentioned he went at 35% by foot.
