What did everyone make of that effort?

I switched to buddy half way through the game as Heeney didn’t look remotely fit for mine.

Would need to do a lot in next game for me to pick him.

Anyone else feel the same?

Goosey

Has been my F1 for weeks, if not months!

Not sure what to do now?!

fanTCfool

Not ideal, but not overly phased. Unless he repeats his JLT1 performance in JLT2, I'll still be starting with him.
Additionally, Sydney have GWS as their next opponent, which might provide a little more incentive to do well than Brisbane.

Bully

Agree, was blowing hard & even went a shade of crimson. By no means a lock & will closely monitor over the next game.

Not knee jerk at all, the question people are asking is whether he's fully fit.

Gigantor

People jumping off Pendles is a knee jerk reaction, Heeney didn't look like a guy who was ready to play a full game of AFL

Exactly

Daicos.

Yes everybody jump off him, looked rubbish. (I'll just keep him to myself.)

StuL

I reckon you'll get him, Buddy, Menegola, Yeo, a few others cheaper. Just a question of how many trades you want to use to bolster your forward line. I have Mundy at F1 now.

RaisyDaisy

Didn't watch the game, but I can't stand most of the other prem options and I expect by years end he will be Top 6 so he stays for now

Not going to lie, I'll be a bit concerned if he looks bad in JLT2, but for now I'll keep him in

Toga

Didn't watch the game so can't comment and don't think I'll be trading him out based on just that one performance.

But what has his preseason been like? Did he have some minor surgery that might have resulted in him being a bit off the pace?

Grazz

Kirk's presser on 1/3 leading up to JLT1 was saying Heeney Mills and Hayward had all had interrupted pre-seasons but all had been on the track for 3-4 weeks. Anyone know what the issues were with Heeney and how much of an interruption he had.

The other thing with Heeney is that he only scored 2 tons in his last 11 games in 2017. I certainly don't see him as the must have forward, especially with a limited preseason. Will obviously give him 1 more chance but another laboured performance and I'll make the switch to Walters.
