Finally able to think about 2018 after riding the high of the Tigers all summer.

I've still got $72,300 in this first attempt so I want to know how to spend it...

Nice start, Great premo's in DEF but 3 looks a tad weak.
love the Deep mids. looks strong. great picks.

can you check out my Team, any advice is welcome.

Thanks

I probably wouldn't start Simmo. I'm not sure what his role is going to be this year and I think he is a tad expensive. For a couple thousand more I'd take the punt with Yeo and look to get Simmo cheaper at some point.

Midfield looks stacked. I like it.

Is Barlow recovered? I didn't like the look of the broken leg and I probably wouldn't risk picking him since he really struggled returning from the leg last time.

You've got me well covered. I have about 6 players in my RDT at the moment and that's about it.

LaHug

Danger potentially gone has changed things a bit for me. Got some players I'm a bit more confident in although considering changing Heeney out for someone like Greene (or even Lambert??)

$73,400 left

I have been playing around with a rookie heavy back line and loading up on other lines. You've gone a bit in the opposite direction by loading up down back.

I think I'd lock in Heeney, his ceiling is ridiculous as we found last year. Greene is also good for a suspension a season, Lambert is one that could be worth a flyer but if he is killing it I'd look at him as an upgrade.

LaHug

Depends on rookies but could downgrade Shaw and upgrade a forward if it's looking better that way. Still on the fence about which line should have 4 premiums.

Mat0369

You could downgrade Shaw and turn Parker into a super premium mid like Zorko or Taylor Adams.

I reckon Parker bounces back to top 10 this season so don't see any point moving him instead of moving a forward.

Mat0369

Well you could swap Parker with Conigs. Coniglio's best has been a 103 average and that was prior to Kelly breaking out and becoming the man in that midfield. If I had to pick between Shaw and Coniglio +77k vs Zorko/Adams and Byrne +143k I'd probably take option 2.

I like it alot, not sold on Bundy at all but overall it is a very nice team to sit on.

Ah shower. That's what I need to look into still... the byes! I probably need to move one of those backs and one of those mids? Any general consensus on number of premiums out each week? Probably want closer to a 4,5,6 setup...

LaHug

Tried to sort out byes a bit and then just started going overboard moving stuff... This is what I've ended up with.

$7,000

Laird down to Hibberd, Dusty to Kelly helps with byes.
That move plus Shaw to Coffield meant I could turn Ahern into Wingard which I think is a huge move.
Only $7k left leaves me worried about teams being named. Strongly considering Jacobs to Ryder if I need cash but that early bye sucks.
