Do you have Sicily? Plonk O'Keefe at D8 & then monitor all the rookies & pick the best performer with one of your correction trades. In this situation you can swing Sicily back & pick a forward or mid by switching Garlett (presuming you have him).

What if you already have Keeffe as your loophole though?

I expect Ryan, Langdon, Venables, Gowers & Ratugolea to score like absolute spuds, so I don't feel I lose much putting my loophole at F8 and at least give myself a chance of potential cover in the ruck if a premium goes down with English/Cameron.

Well I ended up going Kreuzer despite the gut feel he would injure himself.... never learn. To be fair, one would think he could last more than half a game - was a good half game though.

Tempted to safeguard with English for next week, but honestly have no idea he'll stick around long enough to be worth it this season. No JLT games and straight in though, really unsure where he sits.

Essentially I downgrade Savage to Sicily, and move on one of Waterman/Venables to Keeffe to ensure the captions loophole stays open.

if you want the captain loophole you can still play english as he is a sunday game! so if your vice scores well enough then you can trade english to orlango and if you dont like the score just keep english cause next week your bound to get 1 of your rookies dropped
