Your suggested trades look great. Any trade to bring Danger in has merit. You're not giving much away for it... an iffy defender and a midfielder on the comeback trail who hasn't set the world alight yet. Ryan will make cash and appears to have solid JS.
Otherthing to weigh up is Langdon out for a month.

Sicily being suspended has thrown my plan up a bit but will think about it. Happy to use ZGL as a loophole for now.

Yeah I have changed approach. I've gone Naughton to Ryan. Moved Sicily to defense. Can use Sicily to loophole Murray/Murphy and ZGL to loophole Fritsch and 1 of the eagles rookies I have (Ryan/Venables).

I have the cash to do Brayshaw to Bonner but would have to take Finlayson off field to do this. I don't want to do that.

Ended up trading him. Just cant bring myself to starting gartlett ot bringing ryan. I think his 115 was a fluke. Time will tell i guess

Bit of an update - haven't done one for a while. After the great first 2 rounds of the year my year went to shower very quickly.

From being 218th after round 2 I then dropped as bad as 26,117 overall after round 8. Finally got my team sorted after the byes and have for the first time since round 4 now entered the top 10k again with a current rank of 9,385. 2 trades and $6200 left. Here is my current team.

Back to back scores above 2500 have helped. Scored 2557 in round 18

Def: Lloyd, Yeo, Laird, Sicily, Howe, Hurley (Mihocek. R.Smith)
Mid: Titch, Cripps, Danger, Zerrett, Zorko, Coniglio, Parker, Rocky (Ahern, Spargo, J.Smith)
Ruck: Gawn, Goldstein (Olango)
Fwd: Smith, Westhoff, Gray, Petracca, Billings, Franklin (Moore, Ryan)

I kept Sicily last week and used him for loophole purposes. Which enabled me to go Danger VC into Titch C and also take Mihocek's score.

Given Hawthorn play the last game of the round I may well keep him again for the same reasons - 1. Loophole Mihocek and Smith and 2. More VC/C options.

Ended up making the Sic to McGovern trade. Worked out alright this week.
