At least he's playing (touchwood), absolutely no point trading at his current price. Will somehow attempt to get him to F7 in due course.

I have read on other threads that people are actually considering holding Billings.

Why?

What’s the reasoning now with everyone deciding not to trade Billings?

I get that we have to upgrade our rookies etc but our rookies Fritsch Higgins Guelfi are averaging if not more or close to Billings. He’s 400k and i don’t even know his BE for next week but surely he has to go?

I read some article on the afl app regarding Billings and he’s going at 61% this year so far! Seriously WTF!

I can’t even loophole him and every week he is a unique in cash leagues. Don’t know how much more I can take with Billings but don’t be suprised if he gets dropped this week.

Someone give me a reason why Billings should stay?
For me he's lost too much cash. I haven't been able to make a single upgrade till now, and if I spend my cash on replacing Billings it will mean even less upgrades.
Plus I have Walters, so he might have to go, which means more cash spent.
So basically it'd unaffordable and it's a choice of trading him or upgrading a fwd rookie. Should get more points out of the latter.
For others, they may have Greene/Lids/Buddy issues.

I will just ditch him during his bye. More determined to get my team finished than sideways "premiums".. if you can call him that

RaisyDaisy

When you're like me and you have the likes of Lids, Buddy and Bilings in your side I will just keep them all and aim to get Walters in eventually giving me 7 forwards, because there's always going to be one of them out injured lol so having 7 will be required

I didn't start with Billings, but I think he's too talented to stay out of form for much longer. I think he'll find his feet and when he looks like returning to form, I hope to 'buy low' and get him in on the cheap.

If I started him and still had him at this point, I'd probably hold him in the hope he comes good. I appreciate the patience this requires though, so I don't blame those that have turfed him!

smashbox

All he needs is for his coach to move him further up the ground and he will return to form. Is being wasted up forward. Don't know how the coach hasn't seen this

No point playing him if he doesn't kick goals, just traded him for Robbie Gray

Same here. Unless he miraculously turns things around (a good start would be throwing him in the midfield Richo) then I'll be looking at sideways trading him......... oh wait, I meant upgrading him to someone when the bye comes around. In a perfect world he starts scoring the way we know he can. In a less than perfect world I will straight swap him to Lobb after his bye which will coincide perfectly. In reality, I'll trade him to someone after his bye, they will get a long term injury and Billings will tonne up.......
just to add insult to injury! ::)

iZander

Ill take nothing less than 130 today :P
