I don't kno why they are playing him perm forward. Should be playing midfield
This is the root of the cause. Had I known he was going to be played as a permanent fwd I wouldn't have picked him.
He is no spud, contrary to what has been written here, but regardless of all that he has bled too much cash and I'm likely to stick fat with him and hope for the best. I'm starting to improve my team elsewhere and might look at fixing him later in the year if things warrant it.

This is pretty much my feelings too. Improving my team elsewhere instead of rage trading him with his price in the dirt. We know he scores tonnes better in wins so if the saints can actually win some games he'll get back to a price worth selling.

The spud has to go! Even at 380k or whatever he is, he goes!

He’s lost so much Money now I’m going to try loophole him as much as I can with a rookie.  That’s how shower he is.

I would love nothing more than to rage trade him, but I would prefer to focus my tradeson filling in the gaps that I started with and upgrading rookies to premiums, and cling on to the hope he can somehow turn it around, looping him will be an option.

Upgrading him to a premo mid...most likely Oliver. Will wait on Danger another week.

Hopefully the coach plays him up the ground from now on. A small forward in a struggling team is one of the hardest positions to score big. Surely he's more use to the team further up the ground, I don't understand the coach playing a top 3 draft pick who has showed a lot of potential in a forward pocket

He’s lost so much money and there’s no forward really demanding to be picked (bar Heeney who I have). That was my thinking prior to last weekend but his 44 has got me ready to rage trade even to a rookie

This bloke makes me so mad. How can you play AFL footy and be so bad at kicking at goal. Richo needs to put this bloke on the other side of the field or in the club rooms so I don’t have to watch this flog kick the ball. Looking at My sc forward line knowing he’s there is sickening.

Toga

AFL's '9 things' article suggesting he needs a run in the twos. Would make justifying trading him out a bit easier :P

oh_lol

Yep if he gets dropped I'm trading him. Otherwise I'll just have to keep him...

Could be the ultimate buy low player in the league at this point if he turned it around, but have some serious concerns about his role this year.

I have read on other threads that people are actually considering holding Billings.

Why?

What’s the reasoning now with everyone deciding not to trade Billings?

I get that we have to upgrade our rookies etc but our rookies Fritsch Higgins Guelfi are averaging if not more or close to Billings. He’s 400k and i don’t even know his BE for next week but surely he has to go?

I read some article on the afl app regarding Billings and he’s going at 61% this year so far! Seriously WTF!

I can’t even loophole him and every week he is a unique in cash leagues. Don’t know how much more I can take with Billings but don’t be suprised if he gets dropped this week.

Someone give me a reason why Billings should stay?

I don't know about your team, but I've had so many other issues to deal with every week which has meant Billings stays in my side.

This week I'll be without Walters and possibly Greene, so Sonny has to go.

In a perfect world he would have been gone weeks ago, but just haven't had the chance. It's also that thought of him replicating his game from round 1 too I guess..

It's better to field him than a rookie atm.

He can eventually be pushed to the bench as an F7 late in the year. Priority now has to be upgrading the rookies to prems.

I really hope he is dropped though, then we have reason to trade him.

I have avoided some carnage but i do have many problems with my team that should be fixed before Billings but he is obviously my main concern, he's killing me.

Goldstein (Upgrade)
Holman / Banfield (Upgrade)
Murray (Upgrade)
Buddy (Potential trade)
O'Meara (Potential upgrade)
ZGL (Downgrade)

My forward line is decimated at the moment, played 4 rookies on the weekend plus Billings and Smith, i had both Buddy and Petracca on the bench.

I know that guys like Holman / Banfield / Murray can go first before Billings but when you have the forward line i have at the moment and you have Billings putting in shower scores on top something has to be done.

Was thinking:

Billings / Banfield - Taranto / Yeo via Finlayson
Billings / Holman - Taranto / Westhoff

I have 300k to play with and in no need to bring in a rookie this week so if this is the week to trade Billings it has to be done!

Doesn't look pretty for people who own him.
