Not sure what has happened since R1 and that 133.
40s, 50s and 60s leave a spew taste in my mouth. Opponents without him must rub their hands with glee at seeing us with him in our teams whilst we thank god if our opponents have him too.
Lids could be my go to. Crowden to Ronke will allow me to the dollars to get him. Probably the best I can do.

Billings along with Spudstein have been the distruction of my season so far!
I am 0-5 in Cash league and essentially my season is over! Who would have thought after only 7 rounds!

Others might have there reasons on holding Billings but for me along with Goldstein these 2 pissweak so called “premiums” have to go!

Billings this week, Hackstein the week after!

I watched Billings today closely and enough is enough, he’s gone!

Goldy > Stef costs 100k
Billings > McLean costs 150k
Getting the best in Grundy and Gray would add another 150k

That's 250 - 400k and two less trades for upgrading your team.

I could spend that money on JOM > Crouch/Danger and Murray > Yeo/Hurley as two examples
Or spend it upgrading Billings and Goldy and miss out on two upgrades.
All that cash from downgrading rookies,saving to upgrade team gone.
No Crouch,no Danger,no Hurley/Simmo/Yeo and fielding rookies instead.

How will u upgrade the rest of your team if u spend that money? You'd have to wait till the second wave of rookies like Spargo,Cole,Duman,Coffeild,Ronke,Guelfi,Mirra to make cash AND wait for the third rookie wave to downgrade them to.
I just can't mathematically see how its
possible to trade both Billings and Goldy AND make the upgrades I need to make to field less rookies and score more points.

The signs were there to make the Billings > Gray/McLean/whoever move and would have cost bugger all.

The time to trade premiums that are crap is after 3/4 games BEFORE they lose money. Which makes it tricky as after so few games that nagging doubt is there that they will score well as soon as u trade them.

In Billings and Goldys case that was never gonna happen.

Billings however has no premium history and it was just a hope that he would go to the next level. Instead he's gone backwards and those stuck with him now (like myself) are behind the 8 ball

McLean is the safe choice. Sicily higher ceiling (McLean did well this week but no Bont vs Suns won't happen every week) but lower floor if tagged ( it will happen) and of course he's a huge suspension risk.

I traded him for Merrett, sometimes it's best just to laugh.  At least Billings didn't go huge I guess.
   Seasons stuffed anyway, may as well try something different, nothing to lose.

basically at this point im treating him like a rookie.

He is down on form but has put up 74 average for the season, it means im playing him over my other rookies but i will upgrade the worst rookie which is not him.

ill probably dump him round 14 like all my other rookies.
