I backed in Cogs to be this year's Murphy months ago. Should easily get 100-105+, perfect for M8/9.

Now everyone's gunna have him :P

Pepi

I swear Heath Shaw does this tome every year  :'(

Ringo

Sidearse may be a better proposition than Pendles although no treloar so maybe watch JLT2.

Said it in the game comments on the FF match centre, I can't see Shaw returning to his 2016 form with Whitfield playing HB. Wouldn't take anything out of tonight's scores for either of them SC wise, but would keep in mind that Whitfield will likely be playing Williams' role.

Leon Cameroon interview at half time Saying Shaw will play on the wing this year. Don't know if that's good or bad

Finlayson looked like a 200 game player

Pendles wasn't even interested. Wouldn't look into that at all

Daicos.

Not one of the Pies players I was interested in impressed me, on the plus side, Coniglio from a lock went to an absolute lock, not moving.

Thanks Quinny only following the stats. with no foxtel.
Agree on Finlayson looks like another defensive lock with Doedee.

LordSneeze

Every year people follow the scores. Every year people get burnt when the season starts.
Alot of prems take these as match fitness preparation, while players needing to impress go all out. Its more about roles, structure, movements and rookies feel at the level.

Yeah Pendles honestly didn't look interested, particularly in the first half. Seemed a bit more urgent after half time.

Yeah loved the look of Finlayson. Reads the play really well

Intersting that Dawson Simpson scored 83 with only 11 hitouts. If Lobb was to have a set back and need to miss a large chunk of footy he could be a serious consideration

RaisyDaisy

LOL this happens every single year, and I'm surprised that people continue to fall for this

A proven prem is a proven prem - don't let their preseason scores have any impact on your thoughts

Rookies, players returning from LTI and to a lesser extent positional changes (which even then can only be taken with a grain of salt) is what you should be looking for now, and that's it

AaronKirk

D5-D7 starting to take shape ok. Another 1 or 2 1/2 decent defensive rookie options and we will be looking ok there.

Forward bench rookies hmm......

I put Heater in my side prior to the game tonight to suit my byes better - won't be leaving at this stage.

If I need a cheap mid option to use cash elsewhere than Conigs is my man I think.
