Yesterday was Merrett's 3rd concussion this preseason... Would not be going near him.
Corey Ellis (228k DEF/MID) sparking some interest as well for mine, was emergency for Grand Final. Seems to have found his niche as an inside mid. Wing and half back didn't suit him early on. Internally rated very highly at Richmond. Dominated late in VFL season by all accounts.

I just noticed that Ahern didn't play. Any reason for that?

Yeah a bit strange both Ahern and also Balic for the Dees did not get a run after both being talked up a bit both Norf and Dees had a few that did not get a run where as the Bombers and Tiges gave all a run I have not heard anything Q seems a bit of a wasted opportunity.

Dizzy Scott said no expectations of Ahern and will be happy to just get him onto any footy field, probably start in the lessor grades. I think it was 'ask the coach' I seen it.

No mention of Sloane in any list or final teams and not mentioned as a notable absentee ? an oversight

That's a shame. I had him locked as that mid/fwd that could swing with Garlett. Hopefully gets a run next Wednesday

Watched the Melb game today. Fritsch pencilled in my team as a fwd rookie. Has competition for a spot but was impressive.

Yeah he’s in my team atm and another performance like that and he’s a lock. Waiting on Ahern to see how he goes in JLT 2.

Glad people are jumping off Merrett. I don’t see it as an issue. He will be a nice POD and ready where he left off last year.
