It's not JLT but in the GWS vs Sydney practice match tonight Griffen played across half back and was really good. It's a shame he can't be picked as a defender but with that role he could put together some nice scores and be a good cash cow

Might just be the solution to the Birchall dilemma I've got.

Might have changed my mind on Smith looking good and not watching the game but can't see Stringer being a mid on those numbers so far

LordSneeze

Just a reminder all that these are shortened games, so everything is weighted higher.
Hibberd was good, gawn lock, Goldy looked fit but was beaten by Gawn at the contests. Zurhaar impressed me given his limited game time. Oliver will keep racking them up.
LDU left me underwhelmed on what he can actually score, might not be worth a bench spot.

Really think Brodie is the better bet.

40% TOG for Stringer, would wait and see how he goes in the second game before making any calls.

Take a deep breath peeps. 2 games of JLT, some players with limited tog and experimenting with roles, no tagging or run with roles, and some players taking it more serious than others. Already seeing Essendon supporters on Facebook writing their season off  ;D when will people learn.

The only real things I took out of it was that Fritsch knows where the goals are. 5 scoring shots is a great return.
And Stringer looks like a knob

I would be wating 75+ from ldu at that price tag

Will be tough, even Joel Selwood only managed a 77 in his debut season.

Ryan Garthwaite could be another defensive rookie popping up.  Had not appeared on m,y radar till this afternoon. Realise JLT but probably one to keep an eye on.
