Really don't know if any of the WC rookies will play round 1 even Rioli and he is sore does not look fit enough at this stage for what I've seen of him which is a bit of a blow for FWD rookies but lets see R2 JLT first

I'm quite confident that Ryan will line up Rd1

Even before yesterdays game the word coming out of Port was that he's been very good over the preseason and a legit chance to line up Rd1 so I'm sure yesterday only enforced that

Have a stab at Port's 22 and see if you can find a spot for him. I say he plays.

If he backs it up with a solid performance in JLT2 I'd say he's more likely than not to line up round 1.

I Thought he was perfect for SC given they call him Shuey Jnr haha.
Everything I read on him made it sound like a big year with plenty of mid time was on the cards

DV has always been more of a forward who has stints in the midfield, not the other way around. He was never going to step straight into an AFL side and spend bulk minutes inside, especially considering he has barely played since being drafted.

I can't see him playing Rd 1 on that performance so he'll need to show something in JLT2. The Ah Chee injury may help his cause.
