Anyone considering him? Haven't see any discussion about him at all...

Ignoring Docherty he has the 5th best average of the defenders from last season, seems to consistently score 80+ with the odd high game (4 games above 125 last season) and rarely misses games - just 3 games in the last 4 years.

Is he worth it? What's his current selection percentage? I can't see them...

Yeah interrupted preseason mate. Otherwise Iâ€™d lock him in 100%, had him last year and he was great!

Yep been injured this preseason, which is annoying!

Started with him last season as a POD and was keen to do the same this year. Think he will definitely average somewhere around 95, but if he gets up for round 1 I'd expect him to start slow.

Stick with Lloyd and Smith?

I don't mind the Howe pick, interrupted pre-season kinda put me off though. As others have said, was a great pick last year, and someone I'll be looking at as an upgrade target for this season if he drops in price a bit.

What are people's thoughts on Howe?

Appeared to be back to his best on the weekend with his intercept marking and good ball use. Averaging 95 now and priced at a very attractive 463k. Can he maintain a 95ish average and be a solid D5-6?

I decided to jump on this week, the other option for me was Jake Lloyd but I wasnâ€™t as keen with him so Howe seemed like a good option. Hopefully can back up last week against Brisbane this week and then carry on with it moving forward.
