WXVW Round 4: HUGE Week!

Here is what the WXV Rules are:

If you do not submit a team once, you are not penalised.
If you do not submit a team 2 times, you are penalised a point.
If you do not submit a team 3 times, you are penalised 2 points.
If you do not submit a team 4 times, you are penalised 3 points, and you are sacked.

In addition, if a team isn't submitted 2 weeks in a row, you could also be sacked.

So in short... make sure you have a back up plan in case you can't submit.

Last year there was a no penalty per week for late teams. There was a 2 premiership point deduction for missing 3 weeks and that is it. Due to this being the 2nd season I fell like there needs to be a stricter and more impactful punishment. Here is what I am thinking in regards to unnamed teams:

1st Time:
Simply receive 1 strike. Your team this week will also be identical to your last submitted team and your weekly score will be deducted 100 points.

2nd Time:
For the 2nd time you will receive your 2nd strike. Your team this week will also be identical to your last submitted team. You will also be deducted 2 premiership points and your weekly score deducted 100 points.

3rd Time:
For the 3rd strike you will be deducted your 1st round draft pick and 4 premiership points. Your team this week will also be identical to your last submitted team and your weekly score deducted 100 points.



I'm open to discussion over the next day or so to if everyone is happy with these rules. These will be implemented this week.

wow worlds is savage. In euros you just cop last weeks team :P

I'd rather 50 point deduction than 100. The scoring in womens is so much lower that 100 points guarentees you a loss essentially- even if you didnt have the same team as last week.

Similarly, I'd prefer the deduction of a second round pick for the 3rd strike. For instance pick 1 being removed is the difference between being competitive in 3 years time or staying at the bottom of the ladder.

DO the strikes carry through the season? I mean to be fair, people really shouldn't be submitting late teams 3 times in a 7 round HA season :P

Bogota VS PMC is very close. Both teams underperforming here. It will definitely come down to how PMC Captain Chelsea Randall plays.

Barcelona are on fire! They are a serious chance to break 1000 this week! In fact 1100 isn't beyond them if Marinoff has another huge game. Lima are actually still in it though! I just don't think you can deny Barcelona this one.

Daisy Pearce is human? Algeria gave Karachi a sniff and the have the talent still to come but I'm not sure if they will be able to overcome this slow start.

Rome and Jakarta are in an absolute shootout here! What a game to watch! I can't help but feel Jakarta's midfield may well let it down again!
