Cheers for all the feedback on my teams, found something i'm happy to sit on till round 1 teams.

DEF: E.Yeo, R.Laird, H.Shaw, N.Coffield, T.Doedee, J.Finlayson (B.Mihocek, L.Murphy)
MID: P.Dangerfield, J.Kelly, L.Neale, N.Fyfe, P.Cripps, An.Brayshaw, D.Barry, T.Kelly (B.Banfield, C.Constable, N.Holman)
RUC: M.Kreuzer, M.Gawn (D.Cameron)
FWD: J.Billings, L.Dahlhaus, M.Walters, D.Smith, J.Sicily, B.Fritsch (Z.Giles-Langdon, J.Garlett)

Salary: $5,600

Only concern is that i'm lacking POD's...
Cameron v Dahlhaus is Probably the last spot at this stage.

I really like Cameron...
Last 3 years I've had massive gut feelings with:
2015: MacMillan (88) - DEF
2016: Merrett (111) - FWD
2017: J.Kelly (114) - MID
Not one year have i started with them...  >:(
dewit

Dahl looks like he's going to continue to do what he did last year, which means hes not really going to be a great pick from the start.

Money Shot

really like the team!

Cameron is different though as he is already elite and all the others werent.

Fair, I just like that this year is the first year he doesn't have an injury cloud over him. I would also say he's nowhere near his potential yet.

It's Oliver + Cameron v Neale + Dahlhaus

Ringo

Nice Team and just a couple of personal comments.

Just a little concerned with Yeos role so personally waiting to see and target as an upgrade.

Would also look at Keeffe as a def rookie just to give you the flexibility to pull Sicily back to defence and for possible upgrading.

Thanks ringo, will be watching Yeo closely for sure...

Just regarding the keefe scenario:
I may be missing something, but why is important to have that swing set? I could easily upgrade a defender (via sicily) or a midfielder (via finlayson and then sicily). Keefe JS shaky at best and scoring capability probably one of the lowest of the rookies...
Not shooting it down, I'm just confused by it.

Money Shot

If Coffield/Doedee/Finlayson get injured for a week or one of your bench rookies in averaging 70 (unlikely I know) having the flexibility to move Sicily between forwards and back would be a nice bonus to have on the rest of the comp that isn't starting him.

By no means a must but would just be handy and make the Sicily pick more worth it.

I'm impressed u fit 15 possible keepers in. How did u manage that??
Only thing I'd look at is turning a premo fwd into a premo mid as although fwd rookies look scarce going 5 deep is maybe one too many. Having said that Sicily could swing to backline as needed as that's your weakest line.
On Cameron while u should go with your gut feel, he is different than say Merrett/Kelly as these guys are pure mids and Cameron a key/half fwd.
Love the Kruezer and Neale picks.

I understand that, but the reason i have sicily forward is to get rid of the 40-50 scorer at F6. If you have ryan, garlett, venables, langdon onfield you're giving up a lot of points.

EDIT: Keefe is much the same too.

Bully

Good team, would probably go Hurley over Yeo but I can see the appeal.

Not have too many 600k mids, who would've thought the higher the price the more salary they chew up.

At this stage all defence rookies i have have showed more than all the forwards ones except fritsch.

Fair point on Cameron, worst case he goes similar to last year and he can be F7.

I have them pretty level, bye has yeo pipping him along with potential ceiling

Yeo can certainly go higher if he's given consistent midfield minutes, the problem being he's a bit of a spare parts player, tagging also in the mix. Just wondering if 1 ton in his last 11 games concerns you? He also threw in a really poor finals campaign.

Worries me a tad, but i he didn't go below 80 until last 3 games. More concerned about hurley coming back from wrist surgery and hurting it in one of his firts proper hitouts and didn't even play JLT 1.

Obviously yeo has a cloud too, but he played. Hibberd probably next safest option.

fasttrack13

Have had a change up with Danger going down. Tried to keep with the 15 keeper mould, i am very happy with this now! Especially with a POD on each line!

DEF: Laird, Savage, Coffield, Naughton, Murray, Doedee (Finlayson, Murphy)
MID: T.Mitchell, J.Kelly, Neale, Fyfe, JPK, Liberatore, And.Brayshaw, T.Kelly (Banfield, Constable, Holman)
RUC: Kreuzer, Gawn (Olango)
FWD: Heeney, Billings, Cameron, Walters, D.Smith, Fritsch (Miers, Ryan)

Notes:

Defence -
It's a rookie goldmine... Allows me to see who genuine premiums are. Yeo, Hurley, Howe have pre season question marks. Hibberd and Simpson both prone to form slumps where i can get them cheaper. Savage put in a serious back half of the year, if you've got Walters in your team Savage has the same sort of form line from last year.

Midfield -
Pressure line for me. The way i've set it up my 2 upgrades have to be Danger and Dusty, risking a lot if i've picked a 100-105ppg guy. Problem is they both have the same buy, which is shared by 3 of my 6 premo mids. Wanting to find $$ to get Bont/Oliver. Libba picks himself, he's a  genuine supercoach stud.

Ruck -
Monitoring Kreuzer... Probably becomes Goldy.

FWD -
It makes me sick having heeney and billings given their preseasons. Cameron will go forwards from his 2017 avg. 95ish i'd be happy with. I feel he's got more in him. Smith and Walters are locked.

Changes i'd consider...

Heeney --> Sicily
JPK --> Dusty

ubeaut

I'd definitely consider Heeney/Billings/Cameron to Sicily with a D/F back rookie to cover backs with only 2 premos there.
Especially if it gets u Dusty.
