Confirmed. As an added bonus, you'll also get the phone numbers of a bunch of women (or men, if you so desire) because a Relton tier card is the pinnacle of success.

Hey FTC pretty excited again for another year.

Scoring System and Rewards (how to earn gold)

Each week, users will name their team in the appropriate thread. They will have to name;

2 defenders,
3 midfielders,
1 ruckman and
2 forwards.

and also 1 emergency of each position, if you have the cards to do so.

Note: Once team sizes have expanded appropriately, we will be naming,
3 defenders,
4 midfielders,
1 ruckman and
3 forwards.

Didnt we decide that we would be going

2 defenders,
2 midfielders,
1 ruckman and
2 forwards
1 utility

and then

3 defenders,
3 midfielders,
1 ruckman and
3 forwards.
1 utility.

that way that people who didn't get mids weren't massively disadvantaged early on and then later on people could play 2 rucks/ 4 forwards etc.. if they wanted too. Even though mids dominate this comp.

As I didn't play last season I thought I'd see where it was agreed that such changes were going to be made.

The Rd 2 Submission Thread has 1 comment from you, and then a comment from FTC saying that's a fair idea but nothing can be done for the current season.

This was not followed up in the feedback thread whatsoever and in fact you didn't even respond in that thread (A perfect opportunity to voice that opinion again), and it looks like items discussed in there were take on board (amazingly, as I picture FTC as the dictator type :P).

And we actually switched to using a utility during the season, so i just assumed we had switched.

We did trial the utility spot over the bye weeks last season. Honestly, when I went through the feedback thread a few weeks ago to implement rule changes, it wasn't there so I kinda forgot about it. However, it was discussed at length in the discussion thread in the weeks leading up to its trial over the bye rounds. Personally, I'm not 100% sure we need the utility for every round of the season, though I can appreciate its usefulness (especially early on) as a former UTG participant.

What am I thinking?

Bronze collectible "Utility" introduced. Similar to Spare Man and All Out Attack last year, however, the card will drop more often being bronze. The utility consumable would allow coaches to name a utility player (any position) instead of a 3rd/4th midfielder (depending on the stage of the game)

As compensation for the late introduction, all coaches would receive 1 Utility collectible which can be used in Round 1 (or any other round), with Utility consumables appearing in packs from the end of Round 1 onwards.

Thoughts?
