Bully

Solid defence, Lloyd probably not my cup of tea, in that range I like Roberton. Could possibly go O'Shea to Keefe if named to free up some cash.

Mids look ok, I've gone 7 deep here but you have a much stronger forward line.

Would pick one of Sauce/Grundy/Goldy for the rucks. Love the Balta pick, will get games this year with Griffiths off to the US. Probably our best forward option after Jack.

Forwards look super strong, all those guys are on my short list.

ubeaut

This is the strongest team I've seen by far. 15 potential keepers.
Only issue is having enough cheap rookies line up round one.
You've fit 15 in by avoiding LDU,Brayshaw,Christenson, Ah Chee,Brodie,Cerra types but u may have to drop a prem or two if some expensive rookies turn out to be must haves and/or there's not enough cheap rookies.
Well done though I'm impressed.

Ringo

Nice looking team and like the guns and rookies approach

Couple of concerns I have are the injury interrupted preseasons of Billings, Heeney and Nat so monitor progress. Just personal do not like starting players who do not play in JLT.

Not sure how much cash you have left but second concern is upgrading rookies if you have to to get team on park. An option if required maybe to drop a prem to one of the fallen prem mid picers such as Griffen, O'Meara, Christensen and co without really effecting structure,

Money Shot

As others have said this is a really strong team.

My concern is the lack of 150-200k rookies in the team as they are all basement price and if they don't get games you will have to downgrade someone to try and get rookies that will start.

Nic Nat to Jacobs is what I would recommend if you can fund it.

Thanks guys!

Like i said team/rookies will change depending on selection.

Also will be looking long and hard at Heeney, Billings, NicNat at how they are coping without any preseason. Heeney did really well last year coming back form injury which is a positive.

Thinking long and hard about Christienson in the forwards.

Backs: E. Yeo, R. Laird, M. Hibberd, J. Lloyd, T. Doedee, I. Cummings (C. O'Shea, S. Murray)

Mids: P. Dangerfield, N. Fyfe, D. Beams, P. Cripps, J. Omeara, P. Dow, Z. Bailey, D. Barry (J. Worpel, T. Kelly, J. Dawson)

M. Gawn, T. Goldstein (N. Balta)

Forwards: I. Heeney, J. Billings, L. Dahlhaus, D. Smith, A. Christiensen, B. Fritsch (P. Ahearn, W. Rioli)

Tinkered with the team a little bit, think it works well.

Money Shot

Probably the weakest midfield I have seen on FF however your other lines are just so strong.

14 keepers + bundy/O'meara is a very good effort.

Only concern would be the midfield is where the points are made up and missing out on the Martin/Dusty/Crouch/Kelly types early on could be a concern.

B: E. Yeo, R. Laird, M. Hibberd, J. Sicily, T. Doedee, J. Finlayson (S. Murray, I. Cumming)

C: P. Dangerfield, N. Fyfe, M. Bontempelli, P. Cripps, S. Coniglio, J. O'mera, Z. Bailey, D. Bailey (T. Kelly, J. Worpel, N. Holman)

R. M. Gawn, S. Lycett (N. Balta)

F: I. Heeney, J. Billings, M. Walters, D. Smith, A. Christiensen, B. Fritsch (L. Keefe, W. Rioli)

Concerns are:
Sicily - not sure if he is gonna break out and go 95+
O'Meara - my thinking is he is 100k more than ur expensive rookies and has potential to go 90+
Lycett - with Vardy out and NicNat still being eased in he will be safe for the first month then what? I think they will play Vardy forward when he comes back in as he played that at Geelong. I think all 3 can work.
Walters - mid time expected, good end to the year can he take it one step further
Christiensen - worth the extra money over a rookie?

Kozij

Very good team, similar to mine in many respects.

Considered Armitage instead of O'Meara?

smashbox

Just wanting to see how Armitage goes in the second game but strongly considering him

Looks good. Defence and fwds very strong. That would be almost exactly the same 4 players I would run with on both lines if going that way. Bundy is worth it for sure unless more decent rookies emerge.
Are u happy with Conigs+ Cripps as M7+8 or would u be upgrading the lower scorer?
Only concerns are what happens if Lycett gets injured/dropped. You would probably have to drop a fwd or back and rely on Sicily to cover whichever line has weaker rookies on field. Which could actually work and is something I'm considering. Lycett needs a backup plan and Sicily could be part of that.
Other issue is no expensive rookies so less room to move with corrective rookie trades should a cheapie fail and a Brayshay/Dow/Brodie/LDU kill it early.
Overall its a strong team and only 5 rookies on field. That's a huge plus.

Money Shot

Really like this team, Lycett makes the rest of the team look very nice and if you believe that he is best 22 with a fit Nic Nat/Vardy then I can 100% understand picking him. I highly doubt all 3 of them can play however and Nic Nat is a lock if fit and I think Vardy is the better forward.

Sicily seems to be a good pick if he continues to play across half back so with his DPP and round 12 bye I think he is a valuable pick. O'meara I think is a good pick as no one at Hawthorn apart from Mitchell looks capable of going 100+ so points are definitely up for grabs and he could easily take them. Walters is a really good pick as well if he is a pure mid and I think with Matera/Bennell in the side he will be. Christensen is 100% worth the extra money as he could easily average 75-80 and I think there will be very few forward rookies averaging over 60 this season.

Hope this helps :)

HoleMeal

IF you had the $$ I would swap Yeo for Hurley due to Yeo's hip complaint during off season.

Other than that I really like the team, especially a non-cookie cutter midfield leaving out Dusty/Titch etc.
