Keeper27

Hey guys, just had a little play around with the teams and this was the best i could come up with 1st go.

DEF: Roberton, Shaw, Hanley, Davis, Garthwaite, Willis (Richards/Brander)

MID: Danger, Titch, Fyfe, Beams, Cripps, Coniglio LUD, Higgin (Polson, starcevich, murphy)

RUC: Jacobs, Gawn (English)

FWD: Billings, Mclean, Barlow, Lobb, Christensen, Rioli (Rose/Moore)

Kitty - $22,200

RED i'm hoping will become keepers
GREEN are just there for the prices and are subject to change.

Rip into it. Any and all advice is welcome.

Thanks  ;D

Good spread of bye players. Some nice PODs. Strong mids and fwds, although backline may need a stronger D4 pending rookies. If there are more fwd than back rookies then u could easily downgrade Lobb/Barlow and get a Hurley/Hibberd/Laird.
Interested in your thoughts on Hanley + Barlow considering them myself, but worried about so many young mids at GC and being a  likely bottom of ladder team = less SC points. Remember they both have the round 10 bye. Not sure who will score better so hard to pick one.
Like the Beams,McLean,Roberton picks. Not sold on Shaw but is on my watchlist.

Keeper27

thanks for the input. appreciate it.

Bully

Any chance you can get Lobb up to Boak? Just an option with Lobb still in rehab.

Trindacut

Your round 12 bye spread is a bit thin. You actually probably want at least one, maybe two more rd 12 guns in your team from the outset:

Blues, Hawks, WCE and WB

Plenty to choose from. Titch and Cripps for you, so maybe look to get your D4 from those clubs and shuffle your fwd line.

Updated and ready for JLT
Feels more balanced

DEF: simmo, Roberton, Shaw, Brayshaw, Hibberd, Doedee (Goddard/Cumming)

MID: Danger, Titch, Fyfe, Beams, Cripps, Coniglio LUD, Brodie (Wigg/Fogarty/Garlett)

RUC: Jacobs, Goldie (Lavender)

FWD: Greene, Mclean, Barlow, Christensen, Higgins, Dawson (Ahern/Ballard

Kitty - $600

RED i'm hoping will become keepers
GREEN are just there for the prices and are subject to change.

Rip into it. Any and all advice is welcome.

Thanks

Would sit on this team.  Nice balance as you say. Just watch Barlow in the JLT on his role as still not 100% certain with mid time.

No Gawn, No Good.
Agreed. Side looks great aside from that, with a structure identical to mine, but with a few pods chucked in.

Niice team to sit. Strong mids with JOM at M7.  Have doubts about Coniglio being a keeper but my opinion.

Ellis an interesting pick. Just need some playing rookies Rd 1 to complete team.

AaronKirk

Elliis didn't play in any finals. At this stage I am unsure whether he is consistently going to be in Richmond's best 22 meaning he is a massive risk.

I can understand the appeal of Coniglio. He has upside and is cheap. Good bye too.

The Heater of any year before last season would be a lock. What is his role going to be? Can we trust him to get back to a 90 average after averaging 83 last year? Probably worth the risk at his price too.

Personally i'd drop JOM to a rookie such as Dow/LDU/Brodie and strengthen D4.

Money Shot

I currently have Brayshaw at D4 but if he puts in another stinker and Ellis scores 70+ it will be hard for me to ignore him. In saying that Brayshaw is best 22 for the dees and is really unlikely to get dropped, Ellis on the otherhand could be dropped if he puts in one bad performance. He is deffs on my watchlist though so I can't fault the pick. He looked at home in the midfield.

A lot of underpriced premiums here that scream value which allows you to have O'meara at M7 which is great. Only concern is you could be missing out on a lot of the top 10 players for players in that 15-25 mark which could hurt later in the season.

best of luck.

nice team,  very deep mids leaves you thin fwd and back.  think you might be looking for rookies to fill your spots.
