Only issue I see at the moment is Nic Nat.  trust you have read all the info on him.  Suggest you use 6ok on Jacobs or Goldy to counter risk of resting whilst being managed.

Apart from that reasonable team to sit.

Really wanting to find a way to get either Zorko, O'Meara or Beams into mids, but can't see from where I can source the money. I really don't want to weaken any of the lines to get them in.  I know everyone has the same problem at this time, but with wiser eyes you might be able to see something that I cannot.

DEF:
Laird, Hibberd, Savage, Coffield, Naughton, Cumming - Murray, Doedee

MIDS:
Danger, Martin, T.Mitchell, Fyfe, Cripps, Coniglio, Barry, T. Kelly - Finlayson, Constable, Holman

Rucks
Gawn, Cox - Cameron

FWDS
Heeney, Billings, McLean, D. Smith, J. Stephenson, Fogarty - Ryan, Fritsch

33.7K left

I know I have some expensive rookies, but they seem to be the ones most likely to play/score/raise$.  Any help is appreciated.

Cripps/Cogs -> Zorko/O'Meara? 100K left
or -> Beams/JOM 150K left??

My suggestion to get in is McLean to Bundy, Brown, Bell, Dunkley or similar in that price range and have around 234k now to upgrade in mids. Barry to O'meara then gives you a strong mid.

Ringo,

do you not expect Barry to play?  Is he just filling in the JLT for Rocky?

Only offering a suggestion to get in O'Meara. I class Barry in the maybe pile for Rd 1 but until we see teams no one really knows.

Thanks Ringo.  Had a fiddle and came up with this:

DEF:
Laird, Hibberd, Savage, Coffield, Naughton, Cumming - Murray, Doedee

MIDS:
Danger, Martin, T.Mitchell, Zorko, Fyfe, JOM, Barry, T. Kelly - Finlayson, Constable, Holman

Rucks
Gawn, Cox - Cameron

FWDS
Heeney, Billings, D. Smith, L. Taylor, Christianson, Fogarty - Ryan, Fritsch

Would look to use that 44k before the start of RD1. Try to use as much money as you can as your lossing points if you don't spent all the money. Goal is to try and have a few thousands before the start of the season.

Not necessarily true, if you are happy with your team having the extra 40k could be beneficial when doing correctional trades.

Cox and Taylor are wayyy to risky for my liking.

downgrade taylor and upgrade cox.

Only real selection issue I have is Cox at R2, With Brodie now clear for Rd 1 could be an issue. remember in forward line Pies still have Fasolo and Elliott to come back in as well so does he get pushed out.

Would try and get Cox to a prem that you will keep so wait for teams and then tweak team using as much cash as possible. there are 2 different thoughts on amount of cash is that some will say use as much as you can and others will say need to keep 30/50k early for rookie correction trades so just go with what you feel comfortable with.

Cox is a No, No. With Grundie playing RD1, will got to FWD line and could get dropped. No worth the money.

Cox up to a prem like Jacobs, Goldy.

So yeah aggre with Money upgrage  Cox and dowgrage Tayloy. Money with you saying it's okay to leave money (no pun intented) it's really personal choice. I'm a guy that likes starting the season with as much money gone as possible but for every person it's diffrent and thats what makes this guy so fun, everyone has thier own plans.

I actually agree with you and I try and use as much of the salary cap as possible early but just thought I would outline the benefits of having some money left over.
