Rubbish!! Enough said....

AaronKirk

Has done 2 good things today (2 goals) and a whole lot of rubbish.

Spent most of the game in the middle running around with Jelwood and Dunan who at 3/4 time have had 27 and 29 disposals respectively.

I don't think Stringer is in our best 22 on what I have seen so far.

He is a forward not a mid. I don't know why we got him to play mid just cos we need a bigger body and he is that.
He is much better off as another fwd goal kicking weapon, that's what he does best. Could do well as a foil for Daniher,Hooker,Stewart. Would also allow Hooker to play down back at times if needed.
He won't last as a midfield experiment.

Schache would probably be a better midfielder.
Schache cant even touch the ball let alone kick a goal. Not saying Stringer is a mid as he’s clearly not, but 2.2 was not a bad effort.

Stringer had more Centre Bounce Attendances than any other Essendon mid today (courtesy of Freako on twitter) and his only influence in that role was giving showerloads of free kicks to Selwood and Duncan.

He either contributes with more disposals as an 80/20 Fwd Mid or he plays VFL. Completely irrelevant fantasy-wise.

Just doesn't know how to run like a midfielder yet. Generally the last to leave a stoppage today for what i saw

Rule #1 of SC = Ignore all pre season results besides rooks observations

Surprises me to see seasoned coaches on FF still not getting this

Actually...no it doesn't surprise me...every year at this time its the same old laughs to be had around here

Positional changes, and new clubs have to be considered

Stringer is nowhere near a proven prem that gets a pass from us in JLT

I'd be shocked if anyone picks him

Nah. Rule no.1? There are no rules.
