I'm very against trading premiums but I think I have to with Bont. He doesn't get enough of the ball and with the bulldogs struggling I think he will struggle to go 105+

Think trading him to bring danger/Martin in is more worthwhile and the only correctional trade I am making.

I'm thinking Bont to Jelwood myself.

Was seriously mulling this over last night ... in terms of Bont --> Danger, but it just feels so sideways ...   :P   :-X    ???    ;)

I'll be waiting to see what happens with Sicily I think now.  If he's rubbed out I'll trade him to Bonner and sue the cash to trade Bont to Danger.  Otherwise it's Bont to Jelwood/Cripps.

With the Doggies naming Redpath, Boyd and Dickson does anyone think Bont's midfield time might increase? Thinking we might see a lift in scoring from him if these guys stay in. Considering holding now

Possibly, but they also brought in Mitch Wallis who you'd think would spend time inside

Have not said anything about this but has anybody noticed that things are not right at the Doggies , there coach was a cool surfer dude the year of the flag then before the season he turned into a fire breathing dragon , lots of infighting within the admin. leaks about players being traded, this week the players had to announce that they were all behind the coach sorry but the alarm bells went off before the season and I have no Doggies apart from Naughton , just can't see them having success as is  ;)

What frustrates me about Bont is he doesn't get enough pill. I started him last year and apart from a good start he was a pain to own and watch.
He depends on match winning/ high influence to get scores. So it also depends on Doggies being near the top again which I just don't see with their forward line options and now missing Stringer.
If he could just get more of it he'd be a must have. Could happen and if it's consistent then I'll bring him in but I actually think Macrae might be a better option to start.

Macrae > Bont.

I still want to trade him despite the score, although I imagine his BE will drop so may hold off for another week as there may be more pressing issues to attend to. Plus the two guys I was looking at Kelly and Oliver had below par games so will have high BEs too.

Yeah Bont will drop about 24k and will have a BE of 105 ish

+ 1 Not too bad today but with Ablett, Ryan, Walters injuries to be considered and any others that come out of the wood work probably more pressing trade issues,
