Does he have the potential to rise with a re-vitalised dogs side to be a top 8 mid?
Because there are many options just below him that could be better choices (Jelwood, Cripps, Rockliff, Beams) or just above him (Neale, Fyfe, Zorko).

Was the top midfelder over the first 7 rounds and then the wheels fell off, can understand that with the instability within the club. With some of the deadwood out the door and no premiership hangover to worry about I reckon Bont can go big this year.

CD love him never seen someone score so well not getting huge possessions he is all class , still managed to avg. 105 after him and the rest of the team had a meltdown after there flag and only in 10% of teams so far yum yum .

He’s good but to many better than him imo

From round 7, 2016 to round 6, 2017 Bont averaged 122. That's over 26 matches so as good as a full season (including finals). You'd be hard pressed to find anyone else apart from Danger who could churn out those numbers.

any thoughts on why? he ave 98.43SC for the remaining 16 games of 2017 injury? or opposition worked him out? tagged?
interesting to note Danger went 135.81SC for the same 16 games and that includes a suspension donut.  :o 144.86 without

He spent a lot of time up forward in the back half of last year, the dogs needed a hit up target and it was him they opted for.

Crouch > Kelly > Cripps/Bont is how I see the scoring going but Cripps is 50-75k cheaper which is what makes him enticing.

Obviously if money and bye wasnt a factor you'd run with Crouch all day, but yeah it isnt like that :'(

Kelly and Bont have much higher ceilings than the other two. I am predicting both of them will average around the 120 mark this year.
