Surprised you can't fault it, great side apart from one dodgy pick, and I think you'd know who it is.
How much left over cash do you have?

Dodgy pick, which of my picks is dodgy?

Thanks for everyone’s input so far. I’m think I’m happy with where I’m at atm. Let me know your thoughts. I personally can’t fault but I’m a bit one sided haha

Backs: Yeo, Laird, Hibberd, Howe, Coffield, Doedee (Murray, Mirra)
Mids: Danger, Dusty, Mitchell, M. Crouch, Fyfe, Brayshaw, Dow, LDU (Holman, Kelly, Barry)
Rucks: Gawn, Z.Smith (Cameron)
Fwds: Heeney, D.Smith, Christensen, Rayner, Stephenson, Ahern (Fritsch, Ryan)
I've seen alot of teams with little or no expensive rookies that may have to be restructured come round one.
You have 6 which gives u great flexibility to downgrade a few and strengthen your team.
6 may be overdoing it and I think one of the keys to building a starting side is to get that balance of the best expensive/cheaper rookies right.
The only weakness in your team is fwds with Bundy at F3. If the reports of Rayners lack of a tank are correct I see him playing too much fwd in a bottom team to be worth the coin.
If u could somehow tinker and get a Premium instead of Rayner your team would look much more balanced.

Howe could be a great POD with 4% ownership is he over preseason injury?

Also what is your thinking with Z.Smith?
On one hand he'll have the best midfield at his feet. On the other there's alot of points to go around with Selwood,Danger,GAJ,Duncan,Menegola and Touhy. Hard to see him cracking 100 is 95 enough? Also has round 14 bye.

I don’t mind spending the extra cash on the rookies if they are looking good. Rayner is there atm as I’m not sure what to do with the last rookie spot.
I’m not too sure about how’s I go about getting another prem in the forward line as I would need to downgrade a prem from a different line.

What I could do is take a backline prem and bring in Naughton/ O’Brien/ O’shea And then upgrade Rayner in the forward line.

My thoughts on Smith is when he is sole tuck he averages the second most hit outs to advantage in the comp. this should only improve with GAJ coming in. Also he’s had a ripper preseason from reports.

forward line is way to weak for my liking leaves you quite vunerable.

Agree on Forward line, Bundy at F3 was to weak. Have come up with a couple of slight changes and this is what has come about:

Backs: Laird, Hibberd, Howe, Shaw, Doedee, Finlayson (Murray, Mirra)
Mids: Danger, Mitchell, M. Crouch, Fyfe, Bont, Brayshaw, Dow, LDU (Holman, Kelly, Barry)
Rucks: Gawn, Z.Smith (Cameron)
Fwds: Heeney, D.Smith, Sicily, Christensen, Stephenson, Ahern (Fritsch, Ryan)

Really like that team, only concern now is the stanley knife cutting Smiths score in half.

I’m not sure if Stanley plays much too be honest. You have Blicavs and Buzza who will get games ahead of him and also Crameri coming in up forward. I can see Smith playing in the ruck 80% of the time and Buzza or Blicavs pinch hitting.

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong

So I’ve taken out Smith and also Danger due to injury concerns.

Here it is! Every bit of feedback would be great as I’m very happy atm and haven’t touched it for s few days.

I’ve got Sicily and Keeffe so can switch them if needed.

Backs: Laird, Hibberd, Mills, Naughton, Doedee, Murray (Finlayson, Keeffe)
Mids: Dusty, Mitchell, M. Crouch, Fyfe, Coniglio, Brayshaw, Brodie, Banfield (Holman, Kelly, Barry)
Rucks: Ryder, Gawn (Cameron)
Fwds: Heeney, Billings, Petracca, D.Smith, Sicily, Christensen (Fritsch, Ryan)

I know there are bugger all fwd rookies at this stage but I think we'll have at least 3-4. Bundy at F6 is one too deep imo.
There is also doubt on mid rookies so I am not wanting to have more than 5. Will.Banfield/Barry stay in their teams lineups long enough?
I would try to get another mid at the expense of Petracca or Smith.
I think that would give u a better balance.
That aside can't fault your picks although I have my doubts on Mills. Do u expect him to play more mid with JPK etc. spending more time fwd?
I like Ryder in there think he can at least reproduce last years numbers maybe even more with Rocky added to  the side.

Haven't really read up so wondering if you explained the Mills pick. But I'm not sure he's a wise pick, one game over 25 touches and only 2 tonnes last year. Like to see breakouts who have had inconsistent years the year before rather than being consistently average scorers. Petracca in the same boat.

Team solid though, definitely low risk and should have you starting the year well.

Is Ryder worth the risk given he has the Round 10 Bye. If Cameron doesn't play that week you cop a donut if you don't trade him.

If Mills moves into the mids he could be a masterstroke of a selection. I'd prefer to play safe with Lloyd but I can understand the risk taken with the selection.

Nice side.
