So after 3 top 1000 finishes the previous 3 years I had an awful year, this is y road to redemption

Now obviously being so early in the season the rookies are subject to change, I just would appreciate some feedback on the structure and the top tier players

Unsure about Sandilands, I may change back to nicnat I was just playing around with him in there

I have 90K remaining

DEF: Laird, Hibberd, B.Ellis, O'Shea, Murray, Cumming (Doedee, H.Goddard)

MIDS: Danger, Dusty, Kelly, M.Crouch, Fyfe, Cripps, Davies Uniacke, D.Fogarty (Freeman, Kelly, Holman)

RUCKS: Gawn, Sandliands (English)

FWDS: Heeney, Walters, Petracca, Higgins, Ahern, Garlett (Keefe, Rioli)

Thoughts?

Assuming 5 rookies are named in the backline it is pretty solid. Ellis is a good pod that I personally think should be in more teams.

Perfect midfield.

Honestly Sandi is probably the only ruckman who is more likely to get injured and miss games than Nic Nat is haha. Would look at Jacobs.

Again if 5 rookies get up in the forward line I can't fault the structure. Walters will be a rollercoaster of 130 one week and 60 the next but He will end up averaging 90 (give or take 5 points) so can't fault that pick, Petracca was told at last years exit interview to get ready to play predominately as a midfielder so again can understand the selection.

Fogarty to Worpel (Hawks rookie priced player who is almost a certainty to get games early)
Sandi to Jacobs

And your team will be looking really good.

Hey mate, I like your team, except for the Sandilands pick, that will end in tears (yours). Get Jacobs in if you can.

JimMundy93

Yeah thanks for the feedback, I honestly forgot Jacobs was a  player haha.

I am tossing up now between Jacobs and Grundy. I would love Ryder but his early bye would be a problem

SilverLion

Side looks good, yeah would go Jacobs in the ruck. Interesting how you've steered clear of all the mid priced forwards, given how many there are, most sides have at least 1-2.

Like that midfield. Trying to run something similar but not sure if enough decent back rookies will play to help facilitate this. U have 4 round 14 bye prems however, plus Walters,Ellis,Laird,Heeney and Sandi. Would consider Crouch/Martin/Fyfe to a Mitchell/Beams/Zorko/Merrett/Oliver. If Sandi goes down with LTI u could bring in Darcy so not totally against that pick.

Grundy is a no-go with Cox in the team

Thank God the JLT is here. I've begun to make changes for the hell of it.
Anyway, I'm hoping this team lasts me at least for the next half hour.

Backs: Laird, Hibberd, Simpson, Angus Brayshaw, Richards, Doedee (Hayball, Johnson)

Mids: Danger, Titch, Matt Crouch, Fyfe, Cripps, Coniglio, LDU, T. Kelly (Worpel, Garlett, Edwards)

Ruck: Sauce, Gawn (Olango)

Fwds: Heeney, Billings, Petracca, Bundy, Higgins, Ryan (Fritsch, Brown)

17K in the kitty.

Might've gone a bit heavy with the Dees players, but I just can't fault any of them. So long as Brayshaw doesn't whack his head again first game back.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers.

So Like the indecisive man I am, I have been tempted by a mid pricer or two, alas they just now how to get to me. So good news, I have been experimenting with a new structure and team

BACKS: Laird, Hibberd, Shaw, Sicily, O'Shea, Doedee (Murray, Mirra)

MIDS: Danger, Dusty, Crouch, Fyfe, Cripps, Coniglio, T.Kelly, Worpel (Banfield, Holman, Barry)

RUCKS: Goldy, Gawn (Cameron)

FWDS: Heeney, Walters, D.Smith, Christensen, Ahern, Fritsch (Gartlett, Ryan)

So question, should I move sicily into the FWD line to load up on def rookies because they seem more solid, and then use the money to upgrade Cripps to a T.Mitch or leave as is

I would appreciate any feedback

Money Shot

Would leave as is personally for now.

Great depth on all lines with some mid pricers that have a lot of upside.

Really like this team.
