Def: Laird, Hibberd, Simmo, Sicily, Richards, Doedee (Finlayson, Mirra)

Mid: Danger, Titch, Crouch, Fyfe, Cripps, Coniglio, Barry, Kelly (Worpel, Holman, Giro)

Ruck: Sauce, Gawn (Olango)

Fwd: Heeney, Billings, Dev Smith, Bundy, Fritsch, Ryan (Ballenden, Brown)

4K in the kitty.

Had this team for a while now, but the JLT's thrown a spin on things. A few points of interest:
Seen many teams with three rookies on the field in the backline, feeling like I might've gone too hard in defence?
Lack of expensive rookies worries me, as they seem to be the ones who are most likely to make cash. Bit concerned I might miss out there.
Heeney pending JLT 2 as he looked pretty unimpressive against the Lions. Greene most likely to take his place.
Still tossing up between Crouch and Bont. Bont's JLT was really impressive and I wonder if this is his breakout 115-120+ plus year.

Any thoughts?

really really like this team I see 15 keepers and Bundy which looks really good to me. I like the depth on all lines.

Thanks. I've spent a lot of time on it and I'm hoping I can ride it all the way through to round 1.

Only change I would make is probably Ballandeen for Keeffe. Think Keefe will get games whereas Ballandeen a little down the pecking order,

Wait on teams with rookies and then play Sicily on your weakest line, eg if your case if you think Finlayson will score more than Ryan move Sicily forward. Love that flexibility you have.

Just be careful with Rd 14 byes so maybe trade a Heeny or Billings for a Rd 12 or Rd 13 player but your choice if comfortable with 7 premiums out.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, Keeffe sounds like a winning option as DPP was the only reason Ballenden made it into my team. Will definitely make that change.

R14 bye is a b*stard, and I agree with trading out Heeney or Billings so I don't slide down the rankings too much. As I said, Greene may take the place of either one of them, it's just about being able to stomach having both him and Sicily in my team. Usually I try to limit my team to one twat, but I may have to break that rule. Be really nice if he could keep himself away from the MRP this season, but I just don't know if I'm willing to trust him. See what happens I guess.

team update 3.0

have managed to strengthen my fwd line since i last posted my team. If lobb isnt #1 ruckman rd1 ill be moving him to sicily.
The main issues i have with my team is that i only have 6k in the bank, dont have the best bye structure and if dangerfield is named rd 1 ill have to do some changes. What does everyone think?

Nice team to sit and wait for Rd 1 teams.

If Danger is named I would downgrade one of Lobb/Sicily to a rookie and upgrade a mid.

Like everything about this team but also think that if Danger is named he is a must otherwise it will be extremely hard to bring him in later.
