didnt watch the game today, but does anyone know why Zorko had such a shower day? Was he tagged or did he just have a really off day

Jack Steele played on him I think and he just can't handle the attention. Glad I couldn't fit him in,but he beat my man Merrett this week... Says alot about his status as a mid if they are tagging him over Beams.

Yep Steele tagged him and he had 7 clangers some of which were caused by Steeles pressure with a D/E of 21.4%. To me he also appears a little underdone which is surprising given he did the preseason. Seemed very slow on a couple of occasions and did not have his usual spark.

My POD are Luke McDonald and Stewart Crameri. Not completely sold on Crams yet but I'll wait for teams to come out.

Crameri still recovering from a hip injury iirc

And I have Curnow and Gunston as my other PODs.

I really should stop touching my premiums after my initial draft back in Jan unless they're LTI's.

Danger getting injured and me having extra cash made my team worse. I turned Parker, Gibbs and Danger into Zorko, Sloane and Kelly.

I also turned Yeo into Byrne and Nic Nat into Kreuz. Some of the cash from that turned Conigs into Parker who I screwed up anyway.

That's pretty much why last season and this season I refused to make my first draft until JLT finished (last season I didn't start until 48 hours before the first match!). I found that I would tinker with premiums which was not doing any good, then that meant it was only rookies that I would look at if I got into it in January, and who knows with rookies they all change in the last week, so I figured there's next to zero benefit in me looking at SC prices/structures etc. before the end of JLT.

Worked well enough for me last season, see if it can repeat this season :P

You know, the only teenager in the history of the game to manage a 40 disposal game (43 disposals, 2 goals against the Suns if you don't mind). Had a 2nd B&F placing at age 20, and was pissed off about it "it's not first". Hasn't had less than 20 disposals in a game since the Elimination Final against Adelaide in 2015, where he registered 19. Consistency personified.

He outscored the Bont last year and yet is only in one tenth of the teams. If he starts hitting the scoreboard then look out.

3 goals today. Just continues to get it done without any fanfare!

Parker will throw up a 60 at some point which will kill his average. JackMac doesn't play bad games.

It wasn't tinkering, it was the fact that I had made a draft when SC opened, was out of the country for 4 weeks and half my team was injured. The Danger injury gave me a bit of cash to play with and it was a matter of being able to turn guys like Gibbs/Parker/Pendles into Sloane/Zorko/Kelly.
