Luke Parker.

I’ve had four midfield premiums locked into my team all pre-season: Dangerfield; Mitchell; Fyfe; Cripps. For my fifth, I’ve been alternating between Martin & Kelly. But D4 is causing me a massive headache; by downgrading Martin/Kelly to Parker, I not only get one of my favourite players as a POD, but I’m able to work Sicily into D4.

Is Parker a valid POD this year?
Yes.
Yes he is,  fwiw I would be very comfortable having Bont or Zerrett v Parker to win my match.   So parker is a non starter.

I was thinking of possible Danger replacements in the midfield and there is one name that kinda sticks out for me.

Rory Sloane.

He has a huge ceiling and is in 5% of teams. He is the perfect VC option with a lot of early games to start the year. He started last year on fire. Gibbs comes in to take some attention away and also possibly draw the tag. His scores last year are below

Keen on Sloane as a POD. Just looked at who tagged him effectively last year. Hawks,Cats,Saints,Blues,Pies,Dees.
Plays all of them apart from Cats pre bye! Plus Port who tagged but not effective and WC first up after bye also ineffective.
Not so keen now...

^ could be a very handy pick up post byes then

Beams.

He's burned me before and will almost certainly burn me again this year but I can't help myself.

As many going with a deep prem/mid price foward line - anyone considering Josh Thomas or MacPherson ?
Lots of injuries to GC hall, Hanley and Gaz gone, 115 in JLT, 247k.
Thomas is a gun and averaged around 94ish in JLT. $350K
Adams, Pendles playing HB and de goey and wells Injured etc plenty of midfield time for him. Both are around 0.7% ownership...

Thomas has crossed my mind, but I prefer Dunkley at the moment.

Big fan of all 3, unfortunately it'll be a draft selection for the trio. Couldn't do it in a salary cap format

Its about role for JT. He's the classic case of an inside mid who is relatively average as a fwd. If he gets extended time through the midfield rotation with only small stints in the fwd line I can certainly see him going 80+

Not a major pod but a very good pick nonetheless.

I have the big 4 (Danger, Dusty, Titch and Fyfe) with Cripps and Coniglio as my underpriced premiums but my 7th pick would be Crouch without a doubt.

At 11% he ain't no POD though.

meow meow

The combo of Wingard, Gray, Dixon, Watts, Boak, Rockliff and Ryder is my POD fix. Tarps will be difficult to beat and look like their gamelan is high possession control of the ball. Rocky will be all over that shiz.

I think anyone over 600k at 11% is still pretty unique

11 in 100 teams have him, so that says most weeks he is a POD for you
