The forwards is the one line I'm not mucking around with

Buddy, Heeney, Greene, Billings, Walters and possibly Lobb are the only players I am looking at to fill F1-4. 4 of them share a bye which means I'll start 3 of them most likely and make sure only Danger/Fyfe are my mids with that same bye

Will try and get some POD's down back and in the mids

I'm thinking of going the same sort of setup. Moved Danger down to Zerrett, and swapped Fyfe with Neale. Also have Zorko in there. Don't mind the look of it with Titch and Kelly as well.

Seems to be so many similar teams at the moment, but the midfield is where the good PODs are for sure.

I'm all about Ryan from Freo, looks a boss, anyone else keen?

Tempted!

Just be wary with Ryan, his position last year affected his SC output dramatically. When he was freed up he was awesome, then the following week he'd play as a key defender which was obviously no good. Ross the boss will screw you for sure at some point.

Cheers MC. Do you think Alex Pearce’s possible inclusion will help?

There also looked to be  a correlation between his scores and teams that have good forward pressure. If he’d played a couple less games and received a discount I’d be more tempted...

Freo have had some big outs over the offseason, so the points are certainly there to be taken, it's just a question of Ross allowing his players the freedom that other coaches seemingly give their younger players more often. If he's freed up he could be an excellent choice!

Sounds too risky!! One year I’ll take punts like this!!

I've gone from warm to red hot on Beams over the last week.  Think he's a fantastic POD.  Everyone knows he can be a top 8 mid.  And the lack of JLT has him out of people's minds.  Currently at 4.3% ownership.  Also have a lot of respect for him opening up about the situation with his dad.

LordSneeze

What are peoples thoughts on Aaron Hall as a POD.

Priced at 92

Average 101 in matches not involving Ablett over the last 2 years.
Or is he just too prone for poor games to consider?

I think Lyons is the GC midfielder that explodes, but Hall should also be good. Not sure I have the nurries to give it a run in SC.. maybe AF

He and Treloar tempt me to be picked over Crouch

Problem is 101 isn't what you want in the midfield and won't make enough money to be a cash cow... also that early bye

I reckon both will improve by about the same amount. With Nick Holman and Will Brodie both good chances to be in my Midfield, im not sure I will be able to take on either Lyons or Hall.
That 101 includes 4 sub 90, which is why I think the low games makes it too risky.

Agree that AF is the go if you want to punt on him, especially with the early bye.

Holman is going to play as a pressure forward. Shouldn't be looked at as more than a bench mid
