All depends on 1.) Enough back rookies presenting,and how many must have mid rookies pop up.
2.) Lycett, will be there round 1 imo with NN and JJK underdone.

Danger and Mitchell are hard to captain loop early looking at the draw so if I drop a mid it may have to be one or the other.

Sicily scored well down back and has been training there as well apparently. It's him Lobb or Curnow at that price.

Never say never! Plan B.would be prem mid to rookie, Lycett to Jacobs.
Maybe look at strengthening D4 with any leftover cash.

Care to elaborate? Wouldn't mind some constructive criticism lol. Lycett and Sicily im iffy on but can be easily fixed like I said by dropping a prem mid. Backine could be strengthened slightly also.

The Lycett pick is no good at all. Even if NicNat didn't play he's still a crap pick. You need a decent R2.
Sicily is a dodgy pick too, what if he goes back to FWD this season?

Although I would not have the balls to start Lycett or anyone in that price range I have contemplated it and can understand why you are looking at implementing this strategy. Only problem is Nic Nat will take the number 1 ruck role and Vardy and Lycett will have to fight for the second ruck role and although Lycett seems to be the better ruck Vardy is more agile and can be used as a forward which may give him the nod over Lycett so it is just something to think about.

In regards to the rest of your team:

Hibberd is as good a pick as any, Houli is a lock for that 87-93 average which is good enough for a D6 and makes him a nice pod, Hanley has the potential to go close to that 100avg but with the gold coast bye I am willing to make him a wait and see. Need to also plan what you will do if 5 players in the 123K and below range dont make the cut as some adjusting will need to be done.

This is a really strong midfield and you have picked 5 of the players I see in the top 7 mids this year so can't fault that at all and if Cripps gets his body right he will be a top 20 mid without a doubt which you would think would be good enough for M8. JOM again could easily average 100 and be downgraded to someone like Jelwood mid season (imagine that :o)

Gawn is a lock and Lycett is a risk but you are aware of it.

Heeney and Billings are a decent chance of being 1 and 2 come seasons end so im all for that. If Lobb is the number one ruck I think you have to give him the nod over Silicy although when he was moved down back he did score well. Lobb>>>Silicy/curnow for mine. Think Lobb can go 90-95 and think Silicy and Curnow are set for 85-90 this year.

Silicy>Greene

Is something I would consider as it turns 2 maybe premiums into 2 certain premiums and gives you some more cheap money making options.

Cheers MS. Not sure about Greene will play mostly fwd again and relies heavily on goals to score well. Plus he can't help belting people lol.
Not sold on Lycett at all just looking outside the square money makers he would become Ryder/other top ruck asap.

Ryder has the round 10 bye which is a turn off for me, would look at Jacobs.

Walters, although a rollercoaster would be my pick of the guys you have mentioned.

would look at getting Danger if I was you with that 120k you have over.

Bonner could be a trap, Birchall not fit.

Think 2 with Rd 10 bye could be a bit much unless you plan upgrade before. Would only start 1.

I am still toying with the idea of starting with Birchall and putting him on bench if there are 3/4 starting rookies.

If Keeffe starts for Giants maybe consider him forward to allow a Sicily swing if you keep him. Forward rookies starting to not look too promising either.
