I've toyed with the idea of Lycett as well but what's the plan of he goes down or gets dropped early?
No other options and completely derails your season. Would be forced to downgrade a premium elsewhere to bring someone in for Lycett

Money Shot

agreed Lycett has a lot more risk than award.

I am hoping Lycett can last to at best Rd 10 where I can swap him for Ryder which would help for byes greatly. Having him in the side allows me to have other areas even with a good number of premos and pods. any other tips for the rest of the team, would love to risk it with savage with roberton looking to have a more defensive role. but just can't do it.... just yet.

Southstorm

Vardy is probably looking at two months out, so add in some time to build fitness and he won't be back until round 7 or 8, but still could be earlier than rd. 10. You might need to consider getting Ryder in early and taking the donut or getting in a ruck who has a bye during a best of 18 round.

Love the forward line by the way  ;)

You are taking alot of risks with the mid-price players.

Smith
Hanley
Petracca
Sicily

I would downgrade 1-2 and upgrade to some proven stars.

Out of the 4 I would put them Sic/Dev/Hanley/Pet. Would love to upgrade either of the last two but then moves too much of the team to do so.

LEFT OVER MONEY - $196,400

DEFS : Two solid locks and a POD does the 1-3 and then fill out the rest with rookies. Maybe potentially downgrade Coffield to free up some cash if more options appear.

MIDS: Keeping Danger till teams announced. If not and looks to be a few weeks out Will consider downgrading to Ablett (Unsure whether to spend the left over money or not) Will remove Ahern to a named rookie also only listed for structure.

RUCKS: Gawn will be #1 and I believe Nanks will compete up until the byes being the only ruck and pending on scoring could be swapped to Ryder after rd 10.

FWDS: Billings locked, unsure whether I want Buddy, Heeney or Greene as the other. Dev and Sicily proving value picks and hopefully enough rookies are there come Rd 1.

Considering Coff to Keeffe if named to help DPP swing with Sicily. any other thoughts and opinions much appreciated

PureSwag

With the left over money I would upgrage your Mid, maybe going Ahern to Armo or Jaegar or maybe upgrage Nank to Martin or Jacobs. Sicily is a risk so would keep an eye on that.

I see Martin being a risk with Archie and Jacobs didn't impress me so far. Did finish last year strongly. Nank should do well I think

rodneycc

Yeah Ahern to Armitage or JOM and that team is as strong as any I've seen. Great job mate.

Thanks, However I don't really like either options. I wonder if I can move up to Cogs somehow

Thing with nank, i think he needs an outstanding season to be top 5 ruckman. Jacobs and Martin can have an average one and still be there about's.

8 rookies on field could set you back some points early too.

I've tried putting those exact 5 elite mids in along with cogs and it can't  be done without drastically compromising the other lines. So its either Kelly down to cogs and upgrade elsewhere or a mid pricer somewhere in the mids.

Btw I like Nank. Think he will go well early.

Coffield for Ahern

Add Keefe for DPP with Sicily

Upgrade Gillies-Langdon to Christensen

Upgrade Green to Heeney
