316k, put together some alright scores towards the end of last year. He's in that JOM-price range, but for his capabilities at 316, he looks very likely to do well for the price. Next possible options I can see are Maynard (394) & Sicily (403).

GoLions

If it wasn't for his concussion issues, I'd probably be starting him.

Very strong chance and DPP big attraction

^^

Cant see him dropping by too much, if he doesn't go bang he will be an easy stepping stone to a premium or money in the bank swapping him out for the usual bolter I miss in my rd 1 side

SilverLion

Very likely to be in my side if he is named Rd. 1.

Mills and McGrath are two others I would look at.

however I like Brayshaw, shame he isnt a pod though.

Currently only in 5%, I'd say that's POD.

That number will be growing though, especially with Birchall looking more and more unlikely to be ready for rd 1

Weighing up whether to go Brayshaw as a midpricer in defence or Deledio in the forward line. Brayshaw has potential, but it's hopeful potential. Not overly sold on the guy.

Holz

I know he is a defender but for basically the same price id take JOM.

If you just look at the two JOM has a much much higher SC ceiling with 90 98 in his first 2 years. The midfield is his to take at GC if he can stay healthy.

for Brayshaw you need him to stay healthy and then also score well. Say he averages 80- 85 you will likely keep him as its hard to justify trading him out even if you should and secondly he wont make that much money if he does.

You do realise JOM plays for Hawthorn right???

In saying that- You are still correct. With Titch, JOM can form a formidible midfield partnership if he is fit.

haha oops good pick up, a typo, was supposed to be the hawks. I shouldnt post in the morning.

point still stands

Burgoyne is on his way out, Smith is ok but really he is just a great runner. They have a few guys but realistically besides Titchell there is no major competition to lead the midfield. For the record I think JOM has the ability to be the best player in the Hawks midfield, just depends on his body.

In regards to Brayshaw the dees have lots of great young mids and a few options in defense, esepcailly with hibberd there.

Brayshaw is in my team as I don't want to spend money on 4 premium defenders and am worried about 5 defender rookies getting named round 1.

If there are plenty of sub 200k options in the defence that look like geniune scores then I would drop Brayshaw too a rookie in a heartbeat. But for now he stays.

Assuming you meant 4 Premium defenders?

shaker

If there is one type of player that has burnt me over the years in SC it is the 300 to 350K backs so on that he is a no from me
