Backs: Laird, Hibberd, Birchall, O'Shea, Cumming, H. Goddard (Doedee, Keefe)

Mids: Martin, Mitchell, Fyfe, Bont, J. Selwood, Heeney, Griffin, J. Higgins (LDU, Freeman, Garlett)

Ruck: Jacobs, Gawn (Lavender)

Fwds: Franklin, Gray, Dahlhaus, Bennell, H. McKay, Battle (Fogarty, Powell)

Couldn't justify either of Gaz or Dangerfield in the same midfield for their prices ... surely they will steal points from each other every week.

Rookies just holding places at the moment and will change

Thought please

My only advice for not getting in Danger is that you should have a plan to try and get him in (let's say he drops by 150k, so to 600k) make sure there is a way to bridge that gap since you don't want to be versing someone with danger as a pod in league or be behind the pack in overall with everyone else having him as Captain.

Bennell I don't think will play to half way through the season due to the night club incident and being relegated to peel thunder. Maybe Christensen or Ah chee could replace him if you are still keen on a midpricer in that position

Birchall just had surgery I think so will be in a race to ready for Rd.1, even if he is ready for rd.1 he will be kinda underdone not having had a proper preseason.

Heeney is an interesting choice in the midfield when you could have Hanners/Rocky/Cripps there for about the same price.

Those are my main concerns otherwise the team is good with a few PODs here and there

Ringo

Nice team to start with.

Concerned with Birchill at R3 given the uncertainty about his fitness and ready for Rd 1.

Prefer Heeney in forwards. Maybe replace Gray who has the Rd 10 bye with Heeney and select another mid prem around the same price.

Nice side, like the Jacobs+Gawn rucks, thinking about going with that combo myself. No Danger is risky as you may end up well behind the pack, but could work in your favor if he starts slow.

My thoughts exactly.

Birchall at D3 is very risky.

I've changed things around a bit - Going for a real premo / rookie approach

Backs: Laird, Hibberd,O'Shea, Cumming, H. Goddard, Doedee (Keefe, Styles)

Mids: Martin, Mitchell, Fyfe, Bont, J. Selwood, Hannebury, Zaharakis, LDU (Fogarty, Freeman, Garlett)

Ruck: Jacobs, Gawn (Lavender)

Fwds: Franklin, Gray, Dahlhaus, H. McKay, Setterfield, J. Higgins (Battle, Powell)

Money Shot

Downgrade Zaharakis (wont be close to being top 20 let alone top 10 so he will just dead weight for the whole season) to a rookie, look at Will Brodie

Upgrade O'shea (or another rookie defender) to a premium of your choice.

Zaharkis to Brodie
Goddard to best available premium

Is what I would do as it evens out the lines a little bit better.

Defence flimsier that a soggy sao.  Mids & Fwd not much better.

Ringo

Defence very weak with O'Shea at D3 whereas I think mids are an overkill at the moment -

I would look at downgrading one of Selwood, Hanners or Zaha to a rookie and upgrading in defence.  If sufficient cash would look at upgrading another to a super prem.

Also Gray is a concern with Rd 10 bye so maybe another forward to replace him. Like Heeney or Billings over him. Also not sure of the Rocky effect on him as well so can observe and bring in after byes etc.

I continue to make changes - I think I'm at the point where I sit until rookies present themselves

Backs: Yeo, Laird, Hibberd, O'Shea, Doedee, Cumming  (Murray, A Johnson)

Mids: Martin, Mitchell, Fyfe, Bont, J. Selwood, Hannebury, LDU, Barry (Fogarty, Freeman, Garlett)

Ruck: Jacobs, Gawn (Olango)

Fwds: Heeney, Billings, Lobb, C. Rioli, J. Higgins, Ahern (L.Keefe, Powell)

Money Shot

If 5 rookies in the backline get up I can't fault it.

No Danger is a Danger but I am sure you are aware of that. Hanners is currently injured so if you are looking at the cheaper mids consider Beams or Cripps. Can't fault the rest of it.

Rucks are standard on FF but will be better than the rest of the comp.

Forward line is good, I would choose Bundy over Rioli but can understand why you have picked him.

best of luck for the season.

Side looks good, aside from 2 concerns: No Danger and Hannebery. Hanners is injured currently and may not be ready for Rd. 1. For me I think any side without Danger is just risking too much, but provided you have chosen the rest of your prems well, you can probably get away without him, which I think you almost have here.

Bully

Backs way too weak, need to get a keeper in at D4, or at least a mid pricer with decent upside.
