Side looks good, well balanced. Concerned over Lids and JOM, would prefer Bundy and Ah Chee/Armitage/Griffin myself but that's just nitpicking :)

Haha as long as no position on the ground is over or under loaded with prems I'm generally a fan ;D

And if he is playing Rd. 1 he'll be hard to look past that's for sure.

weakest midfield I have seen this year but you definitely make up for it over the other lines.

Different team to most. Risky structure with a weak mid line however if upgraded quickly could pay off.

Concerned with Nats fitness still not training fully so could be another risk there.

Hanley, McGrath and Brayshaw are all risky selections in some regards but all have plenty of upside and could become keepers.

Yeo, Howe and rookie v Hanley, McGrath and Brayshaw is actually pretty even in my eyes so just comes down to how much of a risk you are willing to take. Brayshaw at D5 looks very good though.

Love the mids. (would prefer Danger to be in there but understand why he isnt)

Perfect ruck set up.

Forward line is quite weak. Lids and Christensen are both pretty big risks to be taking especially at F3 and F4

I would downgrade one of Hanley, McGrath and Brayshaw too a rookie and upgrade Christensen or Lids to best available player.

Overall a good team.

I like your 2nd team much better. A little heavy down back,although it seems back rookies aren't as plentiful as other lines so see why you've done this.
Still, I would choose one of McGrath/Brayshaw and strengthen the forwards that look a little thin with Deledio at F3.
Griff/Omeara  is better at M6 so if they fail early u can downgrade to rookie which would be dangerous at M5 as per your first team.
Like the Mids and Rucks alot.

I don't like Hanley as a pick in this team as you have 5 rookie priced defenders. I can guarantee you that one of them will just end up sitting on your pine not getting games. If this does happen and you have Hanley you may have to cop a donut or do a trade just too get some points (Speaking from experience last year... Max O'connor :() Just something to think about but you have a much better track record then me so I'm sure you know what you are doing.

Mids are bloody good so I can't fault them.

Rucks are standard for Fan Footy but will be better than all of the Nic Nat coaches in the rest of the comp.

Forward line looks good assuming Lobb is the number one ruck.

Alarm bells
Would be sounding in the forward line at first look but I have shoved Sicily and Keeffe at opposite ends so that I can swing around for flexibility as needed.

I don’t like any forwards except for Franklin billings and at a stretch Gunston.
Then I would consider risky plays like jack Martin(has bye)/dev smith/curnow/Robinson/stringer/Deledio/ ah Chee/setterfield.

Kreuzer overpriced? But most secure I feel

Pretty solid line-up, the Sicily plan works well. I see you've plumped for O'Meara in the mids, after last year I'm steering clear, was playing a very outside role in the intra club game. Jaidyn Stephenson is the bloke I ranked at 2 in the draft so no complaints there, could feasibly hold down an on field role. Brayshaw I would ditch, coach has said he'll be playing in defence this year as the midfield has been the source of his concussion. Would consider using that money to get O'Meara up to a mid. Cripps one to consider given his price. Rookies look good, LDU not a certain starter yet, but there's plenty others in that range.

If I can afford brayshaw to mcgrath that’s the path I think I’ll go. May look at that.
