Just to reinforce the most games Rocky has played in a season since 2013 is 20 so you would have to factor this in to the discussion.

That is defiantly the key factor. Since 2013 he averages 17 almost 18 games a year so it's not the worst. However if his scoring doesn't meet my expectations of 110-115 average then missing 6-7 games a year is he worth it? Probably not. Risk vs Reward.

Having Rocky & Ryder (and Barry) will cause significant hurt to your score come R10. I’d be looking to bring these guys in post bye if you’re he’ll bent on having them

Barry is only a place holder for now, Only port players i am considering are Ryder and Rocky. R10 bye doesn't phase me at all, if anything it's better as most people will have players in the R13/14 bye and struggle if they don't use any trades

That might work for you in league play but will kill you in overall point score. Remember R12/13/14 is just your best 18 scoring players (as opposed to R10 which is 22 players).  If you are so intent on having Ryder I'd suggest you need a viable, playing R3. For the record there aren't any viable ruck rookies at this stage.

At the moment I have Jacobs and Gawn but if I need extra cash with rookies considering Nat but upgrading him to Ryder after the Rd 10 bye,

Yep I've currently got Gawn/Jacobs, off NicNat after reading the WC team doctor say that NicNat totally destroyed his knee and may never be the same player he was previously

Jacobs/Gawn is probably the best combo to run. Both #1's and usually pretty reliable. If Nic Nat was 100k cheaper you wouldn't even have to think about starting him, He's just at that risky awkward price if he misses games you won't have much option other than to hold him. Iv'e just recently had my second knee reco and i can tell you from experience that you are never the same player. WCE will defiantly manage him throughout the season
