I'm struggling to pick ~3 premos in defence and forwards as it is, let alone loading up in those possies to go weaker in the mids :P
Agree with GL no real 3 prem standouts in either Backs or Forwards so better to load up on mids where points will be made,
Backs: Hurley, Laird
Fwds: None

Yeo, Hibberd, Menegola and Franklin the likely guys but aren't certain.

So yeah, agreed ;D

I think the conundrum we will face is more reliable/standout picks in mids but also more reliable/standout rookies. So loading up on mids could result in high scores wasted sitting on the bench while getting low scores back n forward.
At this stage it seems there will be few back rookies in particular to choose from. At least fwd we have Christenson,Ah Chee maybe even Bennell to fill spots 4 + 5 cheaply. Backline has Birchall who is underdone and then ???

It's the same conundrum we have every year. The top scoring players (premiums and rookies) are overwhelmingly midfielders and forwards who rotate through the middle of the ground, so the main formula for success with forwards/defenders is to find a player that's going to be spending extra time in the midfield out of their supercoach position as this is where the points are made. But next year, the players with extra midfield minutes usually gets a position change to midfield, so you never have a surplus of these sorts of players. Add to it that usually 7 or 8 of the top 10 draftees are midfielders and you can see why we bang our heads against the wall every year.
