Certainly a lot of very good players on low % ownership

C Ward  0.4
Z Smith  0.4
Duncan  0.5
Murphy  0.7
Heppell  0.9
D Shiel   1.0
T Adams 1.4
L Neale   1.6
JPK        2.5
Parker    2.6
Treloar   2.8
Jelwood  3.0
That's only up to 3% ownership there is plenty more PODS above that , might be the year of the POD  :)

Ringo

Would be interesting to see the % for FF Teams though as I suspect % would be higher.  Eg atm Danger showing only 34. 6 with Dusty higher at 37.2.
The number of teams I have seen with Lobb who is only showing 4.8% is another example.

But Ringo I'm talking about winning it outright not just being the best in FF :P

Fair comment and we will have those PODS.

Can't see any 2nd year players like Oliver this year so having some POD's seem the go

The problem I see with these guys is they are all likely to go 100-105, picking the one that will score higher will be tough  :)

True but you need to have a cookie cutter team with a couple of PODS look at last year Oliver killed it 11 tons and two 91's in the first 13 games sure that was a freak year for someone so young but people who took the risk with him in there cookie cutter teams beat me with Treloar who was much more expensive in my cookie cutter team.

You need a pod or 2 or 3 and there is certainly guys on the list that can and have delivered before , it does not pay off for everyone but always pays off for some.

Yeah I get what you're saying, you need a few pod's but Oliver was only 382k at the start of last year, you can't really compare him to these guys who are all 500k+.

Oliver got 3 tonnes in his 3 JLT matches last year, thats what caused people to take a punt. If someone like SPS or SPP, who are in that price range, does the same this year it will be interesting to see if anyone jumps on.

Doubt anyone will repeat his effort easily the best I've seen since playing SC but I'm probably talking about scoring more than price take Treloar as I said had him last year and he was pretty ordinary but the Pies have made a lot of coaching changes ala the Tiges last year if they do come out and play a better style you just know Treloar is capable of very big scores and guys like Neale and Parker and Hanners think I'm going to have a punt on one or two ;)

Money Shot

zac smith is the one that is currently in my team.

the way i see it is he will probably score more than nic nat for the season as i think he will be rested lots even when he does play so having him puts me in front of all those people and if you look at the end of his season youll see he is as good a chance as anyone to be a top 2 ruck come seasons end.

7. Walters 10.1 (MID/FWD)
8. Franklin 9.7
9. Menegola 9.4 (MID/FWD)
10.Smith 7.1

According to the masses then the best or most popular premium players for each bye in their respective positions (ignoring Fwds available as Mids) are:

Round 12 - Yeo, Mitchell, NicNat, Dahlhaus
Round 13 - Hibberd, Kelly, Gawn, Petracca
Round 14 - Laird, Fyfe, Jacobs, Heeney

For Bye Balance this means that the safest picks in their respective positions are:

Defenders - Yeo, Hibberd and Laird.
Midfielders - Mitchell, Kelly and Fyfe.
Rucks - NicNat and Gawn.
Forwards - Dahlhaus, Petracca and Heeney.

Of the above 11 I will likely start only 5 or 6 of them: Hibberd, Laird, Mitchell, Fyfe, Gawn and possibly NicNat.

petracca at 20% is a bit surprising.
