Need some feedback from WC and Freo fans here.
Cole is mature age isn't he? Loves a tackle too. I'm leaning that way atm.
But RTB was saying good things about Duman.
Who has the most competition for their spot?

Yeah Cole 5 frees for from 10 tackles so there’s a fair few points. Only scored 67 from that. Poor scoring history as well. Also why did he not play until Round 5? Can someone explain where he was the first 4 weeks?

Duman looks like he has the third tall sewn up and Freo are blooding youngsters. Only problem is he relies on being effective, isn’t a ball accumulator. I feel like 50k makes the decision much easier though.

His Dad passed away right on the eve of round 1, otherwise I assume he would have played.

I could be wrong but didn't Cole have a family issue/tragedy just before round one?
Extra 50k is mighty tempting but not worth it if Duman gets dropped and left with Mirra/Duman not playing.
Freo not exactly flushed for tall options so that could work in his favour?

Treloar vs Cripps

Cripps is the obvious pick, but considering the POD factor with Treloar, is he worth picking over Patty?

I already have Martin, Titch, Fyfe and Coniglio who are all in over 40% of teams with Dangerfield still to come in (22% at the moment but that'll rise).

I'm wondering if picking up another point of difference is worth the punt, or just go the safer choice? My other mids are Macrae and Oliver for the record..

I really like Treloar, I think he's back but Cripps is a great pick up too

Got the same Dilemma - Thinking of Treloar as his next 3 are Lions, Cats and Saints.
Cripps has Adelaide, Essendon and Melbourne -  Concerned that he may attract the attention with Murphy out.

I'll weigh in here having watched a fair bit of these lads for the last year and a bit.

As previously mentioned, Cole would have played round 1 had his old man not passed away after impressing in the pre-season as well as being rated internally, so his JS is solid. Jackson Nelson would be the main competitor for his spot, but Cole's last two games have been better than anything I've seen from Nelson in his career, both at AFL and WAFL level.

Duman isn't locked in by any means but has played well so far and fits our preference for skills out of the back half. Ross said in his press conference that he was 'fantastic' on the weekend so I think he should be good for at least two price rises. I'm personally a fan of him and his game and would like to see him cement a spot, but we have a lot of defenders waiting in the wings. Spurr/Logue might replace him when they're back from injury. Hughes/Nyhuis may replace him if his form drops, although the latter has been playing up forward for Peel.

In terms of scoring potential, Duman actually had better numbers in the WAFL last year but I think Cole has a game that better translates to AFL level, being a much more contested player and having a more mature body. Duman's strength is his intercept marking but with Luke Ryan already playing that role to perfection his ceiling is going to be limited. His numbers actually spiked in the WAFL last year when Ryan got the call-up to the AFL side which backs that up.

Personally, I would be taking Cole over Duman for an extra 47k but that would mean I can't afford to bring in Heeney so I'm going Taylin and will be happy to get 2-3 price rises out of him.

Thought long & hard about Macrae but a tag will eventually come, only a matter of time. Bont is playing forward too much, steer clear.

Crouch will be in my side 100%. Will be in a winning side, is a ball magnet, will never get tagged & will be around 520k.
