Ringo

Pendles until last year had averaged over 110 for 7 years. Last year dropped to 106 and is Buckley using him differently to fill gaps where his scoring suffered.
Bont will this be the year he finally gets some consistency and wipes his low scores out. (6 scores less than 90 is not what you want from a super prem)
So really a toss of the coin but if pressed Bont has a higher ceiling if consistency found.

Griffin v O'Meara
For an initial M6 Griffin rumoured to be training strongly but not a lot coming out about JOM,

Griffen Ringo. I’m thinking of fitting him in my team. Reckon he’s a good chance to go 90+.

Billings vs Gray?

Very confident billings will be top3 fwd and gray unlikely to make top 10.    Gray returning from injury, unsure of impact on Rockliff on his position and time in mid.  Been used primarily as a fwd.   lots of variability in his scores last year.      Not for me.

If both are named Rd. 1, I'd say go Griffin.

Billings easily. Gray coming off cancer scare and has the Rd. 10 bye.

Billings vs Heeney

I'm going Billings. Heeney not doing a full preseason means I'll look to him as an upgrade target

Surprised people are riding off Gray, even if he plays predominantly forward he has proven he has a high ceiling. I think Port will still inject the likes of Gray and Wingard through their midfield for a bit of class and pace. Slow midfield otherwise, I think Port will rotate Boak and Rocky through the forward line also. Was listening to Watts on SEN and he was saying how Gray is always two steps ahead of everyone and just uses it so well.

Obviously as a pure mid Gray was hitting the 110 mark which may be behind him but if he is getting injected into the mid he is very capable of a 100 average. Does have the bad bye but I reckon you can get away with 1 player from that bye without many issues. Gray appeared to be injury affected last year, can't see him going backwards. Gray like Greene when played forward is capable of some high numbers.

Yep, I wanna see a couple back to back tons before I start calling Billings a top 3 FWD material. But he'll probably make a git outta me. He could get a little more attention now that teams are'nt chasing NROO around though.

I am happy to wait til his round 10 bye and then make a decision. Same with Hanley, Rockliff, Wingard and Barlow.

Hi guys!

Whats everyone's thoughts on the two mid-priced, duel-position forwards?

Michael Barlow (GCS, $462,700)

or

Christian Pretracca (MEL, $433,300)
