I recall a thread like this being around last year and noticed it had not been made yet for 2018, so figured I'd make it ;D

I'll get the ball rolling with:

Simpson vs. Hurley

Both great picks. Hurley however will score more in my opinion. He averaged something like 107 from round 4 onwards and with a stronger Essendon team he could be the number 1 defender and comfortably. simpson is by no means a bad pick though, he is good for a 90-95 average and is super consistant.

When in doubt - go the younger player.

Crouch and Billings.
Think Crouch will outscore Kelly personally, and guaranteed you'll be able to get Franklin cheap at some stage.

Kennedy vs Beams - Both priced similarly (ignoring their byes, on pure scoring potential for 2018)
Kennedy - Down year since most of Sydney were 0-6, still had an AA worthy year (arguably should have been in)
Beams - Returned back after injury and got better as the season went on. With Rocky gone could he step up?

Beams no contest.

Billings - great draw early, GWS difficult early draw. Pick up Greene if he shows something later

Billings for mine as well. Having another great pre season apparently as opposed to Greene with his little toe issue. Throw in Greene's history of suspension and the difference of 19k in Billings' favour and we have a clear winner.
