Provided both are named Rd. 1 and pretending bye situation makes no difference...

Jacobs vs. Naitanui

When it comes to Rucks bye structure should make no difference. Pick the best options.

Nic Nat too cheap to ignore if he is ready to go round 1 given IMO both will average similar.

MCrouch vs Cripps?
Currently thinking Danger, Dusty, TMitch, Fyfe and one of these two.
Currentlyleaning towards Crouch.

Ringo

Crouch is proven but with departure of Gibbs Cripps could benefit. Only concern being will teams run with Cripps or Murphy.

More likely run with role will be for Murphy IMO as Cripps stands at 195cm

I must be an old fart, I aint pretended for years, Lol.

I think Jacobs is a consistant safer option, Nat, like a majority of ACL's can take 12 month's to come back to their A game.

This is looming as a massive decision for me.
NicNat coming back from injury with big questions about his ability to bounce back to his best and that it may take some time to do that. Add in Vardy and Lycett who can shoulder some of the load and even give him a rest if needed when there appears no rookie priced rucks with solid prospects and it’s a dicey pick. Yet he’s significantly cheaper than Jacobs.
Jacobs looks rock solid as a set and forget. Somewhere I’ll be robbing Peter to Paul in order to afford him over NicNat.
Hopefully NicNat’s practice match form will make the decision an easy one but I reckon he’ll be nursed through it slowly.
Have Jacobs atm but wouldn’t mind some more cash.

Pondering this too. I've got NN, but might find the cash to pick Jacobs. The lack of the premo R/F backup option is a potential killer this year

Might wanna look at your byes mate, if you take Crouch you'll have 4 of 5 R14 bye premos, leaves you much less flexibility
later with your trade in targets.

Oliver v kelly?

This is a really good question, as both are break out 1 year premos and young.

I should say that i won't have either but i would be inclined to take Kelly if a gun was to my head.

I'm thinking Kelly too, but also wonder where Oliver could go if he starts kicking...!

Kelly only because he is more mature but Oliver could not have had a better year for a 2nd year player maybe he is just warming up  ;D

Probably Cripps, save the cash and utilise it elsewhere.
