Short version :)

Maxwell was taking Sidebottom out for coffee and had to make a quick detour.  Stopped in an alleyway to start selling Collingwood merchandise out the back of his car.

His phone rang and he had to leave the buyers alone with Sidebottom.  The 'fake' cops came and the buyers scattered leaving Sidebottom there by himself.  Maxwell came back and then proceeded to bribe the 'fake' police to make the incident go away.

The 'fake' cops then called in the sarge (Peter Hellier) to come and clear up the situation.

Oh you nutters you should have kept watching. Maxwell played the best prank on sidebottom.

That was classic.  I can only imagine the thoughts running through Sidebottoms head

"my career is over" comes to mind :)
